Actually had been using 15/9 with a 90min ramp up and down at the start and end of the day.
Began doing it so could use a day shift tent and a night shift tent off the same breaker. The ramp up and down overlapped while full power was staggered 12 hrs opposite each other.
No breaker overload.
Compensated time loss by increasing light intensity for the main 12hrs.
It helped having the lights on movers.
Actually ended up with an increase in yield for my set up.
Flip side to that coin was that it also increased yield of the photos.
Probably got lucky with finding the sweet spot of the lights' elevation with time on.
Wish I had an apogee light meter.

hahaha offended not at all. welcome to the internet is this your first day? ive posted you all the info you could want on autos in those threads. dont worry we will still be here when you have questions about your dying auto good luck
Ok then chill tf out. Twist one up brother, it ain’t that deep. U didn’t answer my questions. I asked what your experience was with light schedules and your yield ratios. U told me no yield numbers, no seed to harvest grow times. This information is what would be most helpful.

Go read the threads I posted all seed to finish times are in it yields are in them. I’ve done 4oz off an auto done outdoors seed to chop 4 monthsish

So in your experience and from what u gather from other growers is that autos typically take around 4mo seed to harvest?
yes idc what breeders say when you read the description claiming 60-70days from seed its just not true 60-70days of flower and about 3 weeks time for it to veg @whitebb2727 you still around? that man runs autos @HighLowGrow you still around? pretty sure you used to run autos right?

See, this is the info I need. Appreciated.
Now for photos, what was the fastest u have harvested and was yield bigger than the best auto u have grown?

photos are ran straight from clone to flower so i can harvest my photos in 60-70 days doing it like this they get little to no veg time and i get 2-3 per plant with most taking 63 days, but im dialed in so theres that. however with photos i use half the power id use running 20/4 for autos. and photo plants typically have better thc percentages than there auto counterpart

U just changed my whole perspective on photos. Photo clones seem to be the way to go. I planned on growing a photo with my autos but didn’t think it was a good idea due to 12/12 light schedule and it being my first grow. Def gonna try n get a good mother photo for my next grow. Thanks for the info.

auto can be cloned but its usless the clone is on the same timeline as the mother auto plant and it would hurt the yield of the auto. you can keep mother photo plants for years 10 plus if all goes well but you cant keep a auto once its done flowering its done
So if u were growing autos indoor your recommended light schedule would be 20/4?

that is what I would use I've noticed more growth in 20/4 than 18/6. I've also ran 24/0 and i noticed there wasn't enough growth difference in 24/0 vs 20/4 to justify using more power you figure 4 hours a day for 100 days is 400 extra hours on the power bill

JImho for what its worth autos do better with aome dark if only 4 hr they will thank you for it there is a point of diminishing returns even using dli, leaves will pray they droop in cycle as observed by timelapse footage but in my obs after 18 hr of light the droop is Pronounced/extended as long as your in the 35-45 dli bracket other factors are going to contribute more to yeild than light i am speaking from experience i regularly run autos in 50-56l fabric pots and consistently hit 8-10 oz per plant
