18'x14'x12' room need a swamp cooler that's reliable.

Hey guys good friend told me about this site have a question for you all. Starting up a indoor hydro room 18ft x 14ft x 12ft. Looking for a good swamp cooler for the room. I was looking at this particular cooler. Symphony Winter-XL Portable Evaporative Cooler with 3,000 CFM and a 14 Gallon Tank Covers Areas Up to 750 Square Feet. Wondering if people thought this might be to much or just straight garbage. If you have anyone has any recommendations let me know what's good..thanks:leaf:

i have no idea.... a passive air loop buried in the ground with a couple of in line fans might be cheaper?
*shrugs*

i grow two plants in a 2 x 3 x 4...putting a frozen 3 liter of water by the air inlets are all i ever needed for many an hour of cooling

the only plus side to a swamp cooler is they don't put out heat. But they do put out super humid air as where the a/c puts out dry air. and you have to change the water A LOT. depending on how hot it is going to get in your room you may have to change your water more often. I used a swamp cooler in the office I used to work in and would have to change the water 2-4 times a day in the summer. Pretty soon the water just heats up and you have to change it. You can add Ice to a lot of them. So unless you can handle the humidity in your grow then go with an a/c.

Ok thanks guys for your help. We aren't going to get the swamp cooler. Instead going for a good a/c unit. We are looking at a 10,000 BTU A/C. Does anyone think this is to big or just right. We have 6 1000watts going up. We live at 7,750ft above sea level and humiditiy isn't really a problem usually.
