ahaha good looks. Now when they do start to show sex if any males pop up i want them out.... but how would i take that plant out if all the roots are connected in the res. Will the dead roots cause problems later on for me?

try to remove males if you can if not just cut off low and leave the roots they will fall out with the next nute change:: or sometimes they just stat in there??..

I know I'd have happy plants had I done this one my own without all the reading this site has provided, but not anywhere near as happy as they are thanks to all the knowledge and support shared here.Finally made it to your thread!
I've spent more time reading and typing today than I'd done in a long time, and still have several threads open.... my browser's got so many tabs loaded right now, I'm shocked it's not crashed on me! 
As has been stated early on, it appears you've been doing your homework. I've been too, which is a first since I was in probably the 8th grade.
I may not have a 4.0 GPA, but I think I'm still getting good grades all the same.... my plants will give the final verdict, of course.

UPDATEWoohoo! It's update time!!!
It's been exactly 2 weeks to this day since I placed 5 germinated Jock Horror seeds in my aerogarden. Since then, I have been learning an extremely vast amount of information from all you good people at RIU.
I have been using filtered water in my res, Ph'd close to 5.7, along with minimum nutes from the GH line.
The little planties are looking quite nice, except for the one I tossed out the other day. RIP little guy.
Anyways, roots are coming along quite nicely. Plants are a nice green, starting to pick up on the foliage growth. Actually looks like pot now, lol.
On a different discussion, I think I've figured out what I'm gonna get for a grow tent. I found this GrowLab (http://www.bghydro.com/BGH/itemdesc.asp?ic=GRGL060&eq=&Tp=). It's just the size i need for 2 or 3 plants, along with the StealthHydro Bubbleponics setup and a 250 HPS, activated carbon filter, and a pretty good fan routed to the attic. 2 of these would be perfect for my closet for veg and flower.
I've included some pics of the plants and one of the roots, so take a look, take a hit, take a seat, and leave me a message. I'm here til thursday, lol.

look just like mine but mine are talleri gues yous and mine are about te same age and same stage in grouth looks gr8 man i gues i am just parinoied that i might kill them couse i never have grown this strain befor and the seed bank said that thay where kinda hard to grow in a hidro system and thay are sincitive to nuts

Cool man, sounds like shits going good for both of us, which is relieving to hear. They are definitely sensitive to nutes. I put barely anything in the res and I immediately had burn by the end of the day. They grow slow, but they don't seem too hard to grow, yet... Let's hope they just weren't that good at it and we rock, lol!

First post on my thread has a link to a grow tent that's about $80 (and if I remember correctly, no shipping charges). Don't know if it's what you want/need, but you might wanna check it out in case it is. Extra money lying around or not, saving the moolah means being able to get something else as well.

I Have a few questions. I have just finished reading this thread and it has been very helpful. I am about to start my first ever grow. I have been doing all the research possible for the past month and I have been leaning towards the aeorgarden. It seems perfect for my closet. I have a couple questions if someone can help me out. How much play do I have when adjusting the hours on the lights? I keep seeing people run the aero with add. lighting, is this absolutely necessary? I will be growing the cinderella 99 X Deep Chunk strain if anyone has any experience with it I could use some help. Thanks to everyone, you have ben much help....

The more light the better but the aero will grow buds un-modified. However if you want lots of fat dense bud you need to mod the lights.as for the lighting hours,you can vegg plants with anywhere from 18-24 hours of lights on time .and flower with 12 or less hours of on time , these numbers are not set in stone but the standards...
