1st Bubbleponic Stealth grow

I'd dare say that half the people who purchase grow tents or grow cabinets, eventually toss them.

Plants are looking great! You might have to bend them over or tie them over.

Well had to chuck the grow cabinet today. Just not enough room anymore. What a lot of work that was. I cleaned out the storage room to accommodate the new space needed. I say I worked out just fine. The buds are looking sweet and some of the pistols are turning orange. Here are some pixs.

yo paranoid, sorry man, been a really busy week. having a quiet friday night and doing a lil catching up on RIU.

funny, i was just going to ask you if you received your piece yet. i have yet to receive mine. not sure where you live, i live on the east coast and i'm starting to get really anxious. sorry to hear your peace was so small... i bought a 20" ice bong and a small pipe too. hope to get mine really soon.

so as for the height, it's really amazing how tall these plants grow. good to see that you have the option of growing in a larger space.

Don't feel too bad about the box... I've pretty much ditched EVERYTHING I made for my first grow. Not a lot of expensive stuff, just all the stuff I worked really hard on making myself. It's hard to just throw it all away.

Plants looking bomb. People who talk smack about cfl's don't check grows like this.

Trichs should be along around week 3 or 4 in nice numbers. Smell is really strange... sompe plants stink a bit in veg. My first plants never really smelled that much, my second set started really stinking the last 2 weeks or so of flowering.

Don't know if coldme is still here, but you made a good decision with the smaller tanks. I did a 30 tank... pain in the butt. This time around 2 - 5 gallon tanks, filled about 4 gallons. Much better. (I wasn't smart enough to read rosemans thread before I started, haha).

mhg... Damn man. You got some monsters. Bummer you had to drop the dude. You got a journal? Either way that one plant should yeild you a good bit.

Roseman sorry I missed the BH meeting

Well its been a heck of a week! lets talk about the ladies first. I had to move the grow area and chucked the cabinet, and wouldnt it figure they seem to have stopped streching!! Well one of them anyway. The buds are building and getting pretty thick. The thc has arrived on them not much yet but slowly getting covered. pistols are turning orange and they are giving off a fruity smell.

I have been using the "stealth" method to hid my grow from my wife. Now I know what your all thinking here that it wasnt smart doing that. Now keep in mind she doesnt smoke anymore and wants me to limit my intake on it. I didnt know if she would go for an indoor grow, outdoors she could careless. On sat she and my daughter went out for the day so I said to myself hmmmmm lets smoke a bowl! So I ground up some bud and went to town. Later that day when they got home my daughter who is 18months old found her way up on the kitchen table. My wife went to get her down and she haanded my wife a piece of pot!!! OOOOOOHHHHHHH boy did shit hit the fan!!! She said if she sees that again she is going to toss out my plants! She then replied yeah I know about them and I dont care but she doesnt ever want to see it on the table again!

So I dodged a bullet there!! She then asked me if there actually going to bud? I told her about the system and she was a little impressed. Seeing that anything green i get usally takes a turn and dies.

On TuesdayI took my SUV to have the shocks that hold the liftgate up replaced because the gate would let go and come slamming down. Well they didnt have the parts so No fix. Trust me this is going somewhere. I was taking some stuff out at home and was walking toward it then I saw stars! The damn thing came down like a ton of bricks and hit me across the bridge of my nose. I went down hard was completly disoriented and bleeding alot. At first I thought it was a bloody nose (still daised) I grabbed a rag and went up into the house and told my wife we had a problem that I had finaly gotten my first bloody nose in my life (thats right never had a bloddy nose ever) She sat me down and said lets see. I removed the rag and she screemed! I knew that wasnt good she said lets go where going to the ER. Ended up with 6 stitches to stop it from bleeding.

Ohh and I had a job interview on Wed but not going to get the job because the women who interviewed me saw a place I worked on my resume and said Does your wife work there? I said yeah she is the IT director there she said I thought so. I sat with a curious look on my face till she belted out yeah My daughter worked there for a while till she was let go. I said who was the girl? she told me and I knew who she was and why she was let go. My wife is the one who fired her and this girl swore revenge on my wife. after this girl was fired she had a complete break down and was hospitalized for mental illness. the interview ended short. Told my wife about it and she said well thats out

Sorry for all this talking but im pretty stoned and when im stoned I never shut up!!!! anyway enjoy the pixs!!!

Should I do any trimming to guide the plants energy to the buds? If so how? nothing drastic like lolly pops just so the light can get to everything. i hate to add more light=more heat to the area. what should i do? I was thinking about rebuilding the light box and adding 4 more 42w cfls to accomidate the larger space.

sorry to hear about all your recent misfortunes paranoid. hope things start looking up for you and hopefully your grow will impress your wife...

Well its been a little over 5 weeks since I started flowering. I must say up to now I have been trouble free ( thank you RIU ) and knock on wood. I figure I have about 3-4 weeks left on one plant and about 5-6 weeks left on the other one. Weird how its the same strain but one plant is about 2 weeks behind in growth. It has lighter green leaves compared to its sister who has dark leaves. I got to come up with names to id them soon! Anyway since one is behind when harvest comes I will not be able to flush with fresh water, but from what I have read with a proper cure that wont matter. I will have to leave the lights on for one plant and cover the ripe plant for 24-36hrs before chop chop. I am now reading all about harvesting my crop. The hairs are getting to be pretty orange and the tricks are coming in. there only about 20% amber or so. Ill chop when they are at 50-70% amber.

Buds are looking fat and happy getting bigger each day. I have decided on my next grow to use 2 250w hps lights with the cfl's to increase yield. Im also going to get some fem master cush seeds and do 6 plants.

Stayed tuned more to come as I get closer to harvest.

Trichs are looking amber,or is that just the light?if they amber like that harvest time is NOW.You want to harvest the plant at its window peak potency.Once that window is closed you can lose potency.

I think its the light purp. Im using one of those 12.00 radio shack microscope with the led light on it. the light is a little yellow. its only been flowering for 5 weeks. Its a unknown strain so not sure how long to flower for. The pistols are only about 20% orange. I will use a brighter crisper light to check again. On my next grow im going to just spend the money and get the microscope that hooks up to the computer so I can get clearer pixs.

Ill post some more pics of the trics later.

Ohh yea you gotta cople weeks left..I like my trichs more cloudy with a touch af amber!
