1st CFL Grow....here we go

HMM i guess net is pimping me out now. Lmao. Eh rambler i had some similar stuff happen in my grow. I seen another pink one by another guy here to its pretty cool. Guess we all kinda got lucky!
How far into flower are u mine started to turn pink in the 2nd week.Check um out.

now do pink hairs turn amber when drying and curing or do they stay pink???

how far into flowering is that? mine were 3 weeks into flower. i think. they went 12/12 the night of the florida/alabama game. they're starting to get trich's and open up a little, but nothing much yet.

My hairs all turned fire red during cure.Those are pixels from various stages they turned pink and got frosty in the 2nd week tho.

word. yeah, i realized the pics were in stages after i wrote that. mine are just startin to get crystals. i'll update my journal with pics later. thanks

Sweet pictures! This is their second week of flower. They were put in 12/12 about 4 weeks ago, but took two weeks to show their sex.

I'm uber excited now. One of the clones I took was of this plant. I'm hoping the clone takes off and is successful.

Yea this was my favorite grow by far. luckily i took a couple tops and decided to clone them.kinda got lucky i almost tossed them in the trash. im getting ready to do it all over again.gonna be awesome.
Be carefull tho these things get really smelly fast. Ive had completely modify my odor control.

I'm dying here. The waiting is the hardest part. I have just over two weeks until I can start harvesting.

Walked in the house today after work only to find my whole house reeks of weed.

Yeah, gonna have to get on that odor-control thing. Soon.

...should add that in about two weeks I can think about harvesting Lisa...not Pink Minnie. Pink Minnie has a ways to go. Lisa started before I even went to 12/12. She'll be first. Then I think it will be Tessa, then Pink Minnie, then Veronica. Olive Oyle, the baby, has a mini-cola the size of a pencil eraser. It's cute.

Yeah, the house is strong. Even with two cigarette smoking indoor-cat owners living in the house, all you can smell is fresh weed.

Gonna have to buy something to purify the air. Best get to reading again.....

Tessa's clone has sprouted roots! Yay!

I have Minnie's clone under 18/6. I'll put Tessa's clone with her shortly. Lisa's clone still hasn't sprouted roots. Bummer./

Have set up a very small grow chamber in an old armior. I used to store electronics in it so I already had holes drilled in the back for electrical chords.

Had to laugh.....during the paper ripping festivities yesterday I noticed my estranged father's side of the family used a lot of that mylar wrapping paper. As people were opening presents I made a comment I wanted the mylar paper....under the facade it was good paper and could be reused next year since it can't be torn. To myself, I'm thinking, "Score! Grow room reflectors!"

My estranged father works for drug enforcement. Lucky me! He has no idea of my passion for nature's medicine and lives in a different state. I don't let his occupation deter my love for maryjane.

I swear I saw a moment of recognition flicker in his eyes when I said I wanted the mylar paper. His work spidey-sense kicked in. ...it was just an odd look I felt from the other side of the room as I was folding the paper and tucking it away. A sibling made a comment that one side was really bright. I commented with, "you fold it so the reflective side is in, and it won't blind you."

Thankfully, my pop's the type that would just as soon turn a blind eye to his daugher's activities then cause a ruckus, so he didn't say anything, but I think my stupid use of the lingo "mylar," "reflective" and my eagerness to collect used wrapping paper may have triggered his intuitive drug agent side.

regarding the grow: some of the bottom fan leaves are starting to yellow. I know that happens near the latter half of flowering, so I'm not nervous yet. Part of me is worried about overwatering, so I think I've leaned more towards keeping these girls thirsty. I worry I may under water them and that might be the reason for the yellowing....don't know.

The pink plant isn't as pink as it was a few days ago. Don't know if that's a good thing or a bad thing.

Some nice pistils coming out!!

planted Tessa's clone day before yesterday. It was nice and healthy when I moved it from water to soil. A day later, yesterday, it just looked downright pitiful. The dirt I put it in was moist, and after I planted it, I put it in a small dish of water to soak up water from the bottom of the pot, and even after all that, it was extremely droopy yesterday.

Thinking it was a last resort, I soaked it yesterday to where water was dripping out the bottom. I went in today and it's standing back up. She just might make it after all. Her leaves are still a little withered, but I she looks like a happy girl again.

Lisa's clone has not taken root yet. It's been 20 days. She's been in water and the leaves are healthy, but it has not taken root yet. How long should I wait before calling it a wash? I figure as long as the leaves are healthy, the plant's still somewhat alive and there's a chance.......

Stoner kitty got to Tessa's clone. I had the door open because I was adding lights and while I wasn't looking, stoner kitty snuck in and yanked her out of the dirt, roots and all.

I quickly replanted her, but I don't think she's going to make it. This morning she's all wilted....moreso than before.

I think Stonerkitty killed her. F'n cats.

just realized my harvest date is off. I was counting 6 weeks from 12/12, when technically, it should be 6 weeks from the time they decided to show their sex. I need to add about 2 weeks to my estimated date since they took about 2 weeks to show sex. More waiting, goody.

Being as I know Tessa's clone is probably history, I put three more seeds in some paper towels, trying to germ them. I need to get some plants vegging so they're ready to flower when I harvest the others.

Went to the hardware store yesterday and stocked up on daylight CFLs. I converted an old to armoire store the babies. I covered the walls with the mylar wrapping paper and put three 26w and 1 13w CLFs on them. They're under 18/6. I'll probably change them to 24/0 once they get good and established.

also starting to convert all the other bulbs in the house. The BF is definitely starting to roll his eyes at me.

Sad to hear that.

Tessa's clone is definitely not going to make it. Her leaves were all wilted and crunchy. She was just starting to come back to life after I'd watered her, too. She's a gonner. I yanked her.

One of my seeds just started showing their tap root so I planted it. Another mystery seed..... we'll see what becomes of it.

On the flip side, Minnie's clone is really taking off.
