looking good hun. keep up the good work. you can get a pocket scope for pretty cheap. i would most def get one. studies have found that harvesting when trichs are all cloudy with a few amber is when peak THC is achieved. just sayin.

Radioshack has a 15x scope for $9 and the 60x-100x scope is $14. The more powerful one was too hard to use accuratly so I got the 15x loupe.

Happy sunday everyone!
Time for one more update!
Begining of week 8 (50th day).
This week went by real fast. Work kept me real busy.
Leaves close to the top of the plants are now starting to turn yellow.
Buds are getting very thick.
Id say they are about 2 weeks from harvest.
Im getting a 30x or 16x handheld microscope today.
Cant wait to check the trichs up close.
The 4 BC Big Bud are flowering away and again I was very lucky; germinated 6 seeds, topped the best 4 and they all turned female!!!
Im gonna start a new thread for that 2nd grow, Hope to see you all there!

Ya usually i think flush is overrated but most people do the last 7 days i think im more of the last 3 days i drown with water than let sit as soon as it dries i cut.

but its all personal pref. if u want them totally yellow at the end ur probly on the right track.

Great job man! Can't wait to here what those babies taste like ha ha. Anyways I've been following your thread for awhile and have read everything, but I had a question. How often are your intake fans running? Just curious since my cab is pretty similar to yours and my humidity doesn't get nearly that high.

Thank you for following my grow!
I have 2 intake fans in each partition that are wired to 12 volts adapters.
They are on 24/7.
Same for the exhausts.
For the veg period I had a humidifyer in there, kept everything at about 55%.
Took it out when I switched to 12/12 for fear of mold.
Its about 40% in my appartement so I didnt put it back in.

Thanks for the prompt response. I may need to invest in a bigger humidifyer as I believe this is one of the reasons my baby is so much smaller then most. Any ideas as to why its so small? How soon into veg did you start nute?

This will get you absolutely nowhere. Also, being that your new to growing.. your not going to be able to "eyeball" it, and more than likely end up ruining.. what I personally think is the best 'noob grow' that I've seen yet on this site. I mean that too.. your doing absolutely great man..

so do yourself and your ladies a favor and go get yourself a magnifying glass or something similar.. so you can check the trichs. I mean, why go through all the weeks of waiting and hard work.. only to finally harvest.. and then to find out you harvested too soon or too late... leaving you with a ruined product.

It will bring tears to your eyes.. if you don't take the necessary precautions while growing.

Hello everyone following me on this 1st grow!
Its the end of week 8 (56th day).
The plants are looking like they are ready to make the last push.
I cut some leaves near the top of the platns that were really yellow.
Cleaned everything real nice, buds are looking very juicy. :)
Im very surprised at how hard and compact they are....cool stuff to watch evolve.
I bought a cheap 16x magnifiyer, looked at the trichs....kinda hard to tell when its the 1st time. ;)
I noticed some of them are darker on the back 2 plants, but not the majority, so Ill wait at least one more week.
Here are the girls all trimmed up.

wow kala those are sooo nice!!!! i really hope mine come out looking atleast close to yours. i just got some nutes finally for my plants 15-30-15 is this what you used in budding?

This is a pic of the nute regiment the plants have had since seedlings.
Flowering ones are on the right.
Its a 2 part feed and a bloom supplement.
Worked pretty well.

cool im gonna try this new stuff out on some baby plants i got out side see if it burns them if not i should be good to go with my budding ones
