1st Coco Grow

Alright after reading many coco threads i decided to go to the local hydro store and stock up and heres what i got

5x5 tent the nicest one they had
canna coco
canna a+b
cannazime
rhyzotonic
myco maddnes
pk 13/14
humbolt flower hardener
calmag

1 400hps
1 600hps
all vented

6 clones fairly rooted
2 og kush
2 super skunk
2 chemdawg

greenhouse seedbank seeds should be here tommorow
2 great white shark
2 white widow
2 trainwreck
2 cms
2 church
5 pinaple express
1 la women
1 sour cream
1 la confidencial

the clones are currently under 400hps about 3 ft under
i fed them the first time last night 1/2 strength but i think that was a lil heavy we'll see tomorrow Ph was 5.9 and the ec meter said 203 im not sure what that meant so im going to the hydro store to learn how to convert it tomorrow. Ill have pics up soon please keep up with this one because this being my first coco grow i will need help.

The clones i had going already are doing great and i have great news i picked up a tray of blue dream clones cant wait to see them grow heres some pics

heres the seeds...can anyone tell me the best way to germinat?

my tent temp is staying at 86.6 is that too hot

germinate in wet papertowel on a plate with a bowl over it, keep it above a fridge or somewhere warm (google paper towel germinating methode)
any temps above 90 are bad unless uv got a co2 setup, try and keep it below 85, 75 is optimal

does anyone know how long in the grow i should use canna cannazime and rhysotonic

So I think I over fertilized them the leaves are curling under and new growth is twising at top I checked the run off it was 6.0 buy they seemed over watered too when I picked the bag up a bunch of water came out of the holes on the bottom I'll have pics soon cuz I will need help diagnosing

how often are you watering? are those 2 or 3 gallon bags? you could probably water them every 2-4 days. you want the medium to get dry, not bone dry but pretty dry before you water again
if the tips are browning or discoloring from the tips it usually nute burn, although if the leaves are still green and the tips are pointing downward it could be excessive salt buildup

86 is too hot yes... keep temps around 75-80

You went out and bought all that nice equipment and dont even know how to germinate?

The leaves could be curling due to temps as well..

Also...... you shouldnt feed your just rooted clones.... Them them establish themselves before giving any nutes

Been a while I'll try to post a new pic I got a new 1000 hps way
brighter harder to cool though I'm 10 days into flower and looking good! Someone told me with coco my ph should be 6.3 I'm gonna try that but everything I's looking good can't wait to see the final product

tomorrow will be week three and im feeling good about this it being my first coco grow. All look good with the super skunk ahead on nugging but behind on crystals. while og kush chemdog and blue dream are less nugged up but way crysaly its still early though.
After tonites water i will go half strength on base nutes canna coco ab because i will be adding the pk 13/14 for 7-10 days and bud xl through out . after the 10 pk i will swith with moab and gravity to finish hopefully with no trouble.

I upgraded to a 1000w hps and now there are some heat issues but the plants love it they are streatching like hell. next time i will do half as many plants because its to hard to water them all and i think with more care and topping and pruning on less plants could possibly have same yield.

does anyone have a guesstamate on my possible yield?

I can't believe people actually buy those tents instead of making their own. Those tents cost a fortune.

ya i paid like 300 for it but all the vent holes are cool cuz they sinch up to the duct and there are clear plastic windows so i can see with out unzipping its actually pretty well built i couldnt make one this well but i could have made one. ive put a lot of money into this thats why i cant mess it up

can someone tell me what i should yeild off a 1000w hps with 21 plants in a 5x5 area please

these things will not stop stretching. Im not sure Im gonna have enough room in this tent the light is almost too the top whats should i do.

Well its moving right along. the dream is looking really sticky so many trichs kind of filling out. i did a week of pk 13/14 with budxl and i just started the moab and gravity and kept budxl. the dream og kush and super skunk look alright but I thought they would thicken up by now i think heat might be an issue and i never bagged up i kept them in the 1 gals maybe root bound? I know my pics suck but the chem dog is going way slow. but there is still 3 weeks hopefully they thicken up. they are smelly and sticky as fuck though. one dream plant is almost 5 feet tall in a one gal bag it looks so wierd its got a nice cola but i see some ppls nugs at 5 weeks and they are like coke cans. I guess i will learn as i go. next time the tent is for mothers and using a whole room for flower cuz heat is to much to deal with having a 1000 in there and watering is tricky. if anyone has some constructive criticism or suggestion please be my guest I need help but im still impressing myself for my first real grow and in coco i thought this stuff was going to be a pain in the ass but its great.

your plants are looking good
if they are getting too big there isnt all that much you can too, try using some yarn to tie down the tops a bit
also not to many people read through grow journals and help with questions, they just look and maybe comment, try asking your questions in some of the other forums
