1st crop when to harvest (need bigger Buds)

Hello all these are pics. of my 1st grow trying to figure when to harvest and how to get bigger buds. I look at the humongus buds here and I'm filled with WOW! I have to Female bagseed plants so I don't know the strains but they have been flowering since Nov. 18. the buds on one of them are developing faster than the other could this be the lights or the strains (or the grower:-(). Anyway I need advice on when should I harvest and how to make my buds bigger. I have a 420 scope for magnification to see the development of the trichomes (could yall suggest any better tpyes?) but I have to keep picking my baby to check to see. I have Three CFLs on a 12/12 cycle,and the plants are growing in a closet.

I would get the lights closer to the plants (an inch or two away). And add more cfls if you can. What range are those, the front one looks like a 6500, not sure about the back two. Get some more 2700 cfls (warm light - better for budding) if cfls the way you want to go. Milky trichs, high stone, More amber, more stoned - couch lock, depends what you want.

get more light next time, and keep it closer to plant. by the looks of shit you got 2 more weeks till harvest

I prefer about 20% amber trichs gives a nice body high with a decent cerebral effect. You deff want more cfl's. Back when I flowered with CFL I would use 6 42 watter's if memory serves me right. If ya want big buds you gotta go with a HPS. HTG supply sells em pretty cheap, you can get a 400 watt complete set-up for $120 before shipping costs.

Your grow looks good. I believe a good light to be the only thing you're lacking. Go for a 400-600w HPS. The difference will blow you away.

Wow I didn't expect to hear anything that fast...It's seems for now I need to move my lights closer and to buy bigger,better and different lighting. Thanx A Pound Guys...
