1st day of veg

So heres my room with 21 of my babys. Under 2 x 600w lights. Question are my plants ok that far from the light or should i move them closer to the light?

Thats fine so long as all else is in order (temp, humidity, keeping soil moist). Once they pop, get that light as close as yu can without burning them. You cant give them to much light, but yu can burn the shit out of them. Keep air moving around and you'll be golden.

If they start getting light bleached you'll know they're too close. I've bleached seedlings with a 400 watt lol. Just find that sweet spot for distance. Looks like you're keeping them at a reasonable distance though. If they start yellowing and then turn whiteish you'll know what's up. I'm thinking 2x600 watts for seedlings might be a waste on electricity.

I figure even 600 watts is a waste of electricity so I use a few 6500k CFL's for a couple of weeks, then under the 600w HPS

Im just following what my bro does. 2x 600w can only help them grow faster, i dont want them in a long veg so they can stretch out. I need as much light as poss. If it wasnt for them been so young id have all 3 lights in. Im hoping to sog as i only have 3 ft from floor to light so a fast veg might be the best way to go about it. The temps perfect in there too. Got a nice air flow. And 12 hours after plant theres already a few seed heads popping up.

Pay your leccy bill mate!!

Just because u have em under 1200w it doesnt mean veg will happen faster...

If u want the fastest veg give them exactly what they need when they need it!

Nxt time dont use seeds with only 3ft from floor to top, use clones an 12/12 sea of green in there....

I do pay my electric i just dont pay for the lights. I tried to get clones but nobody had the strain i wanted. It is my first ever grow obviously it aint gonna be perfect but im doing this for the smoke and because i find it interesting. Everything from here on out is a learning curve. Thanks for the advice tho always preciated

I'd think your biggest concern is taking care of 21 plants in that small room...what are your plans moving forward for watering and plant care? That's a big project you've got going

Sorry i never explained. Im only keeping 12. 4 plants per 600w. Im picking the ones that look best and experimenting with a couple of free strains. Testing nutrients n that. Buy the time they flower theyll only be 12. Suppose u could call it survival of the fittest lol
