you could let your water sit out for 24 hrs. i hear that helps get rid of clorine, but i belive 6 is good? and those plants in the pics look great i wouldnt worry just yet, keep it up:leaf:

Thanks Man,

I just looked again and found that only one of leaves is like this. Its a bottom leaf. I think im going to try to top on of them tonight and start LST. The nodes are so close togehter and the undergrowth is so thick I dont wont to snip anything that im not supposed to. Im going to post pics with a normal camera later on.

Thanks for the help....

Oh by the way Small Fry is filling out.

Temps 75 in the box: Temps at both tops 77-81 (AC now on in room)
Humidity mid 50's

So ive decided to keep it simple this time. No LST and no topping. Im going to add more side lighting and thats about it. I will be starting a nute schedule this week...

So I changed my mind, I am going to be doing LST just because I know I can provide lighting to the lower branches. The plants are growing short and fat. Small fry is now catching up nicely. I cant believe how much they grow in 24 hours. No nutes have been added yet. Next week I will be starting them slowly.

Going to take pics of the LST tonight. Ill edit this post later on.

Thanks for stopping by...

So I decided to bend her over because the undergrowth is crazy. I drilled holes in the pots. I used small fishing line.

I need some opinions on this. I dont know if I did it right or not. I just wanted to get light inside the plant. Will this work.? Im not going to do this to the other plant until I know its ok.

LST 2 on the left.... Small Fry is the only plant I did this to.

Thanks for stopping by...

Looks fine to me, just make sure that you dont use wire too thin or you will end up cutting that branch right off as it grows. :(

well...how big do you want them at end of harvest...how much area rather.....

expect them to triple in height during the flowering...os if you want a 18'' plant you veg till its 6-8'' tall and flower

So I decided that the string that I used was to thin, to strong, and would cut threw my plants (Thanks EpyxN ;-)). I went to the store and bought some thin shew string. I retied the small bitch. There is so much undergrowth it really took patience. Over night though with it tied up, it showed signs of the undergrowth actually growing. The new LST for Small Fry is shown in the first 2 pictures.

Next is the bigger plant, Slow Poke. The first 3 picture are of her with no LST. She looks awsome man. Undergrowth is retarded! I tied her down to expose this. The last pics are pics Slow poke tied down. One of her trunk after 24 days from seed (4-6 day to germinate). The last are the two whore in the box.

Thanks for stopping by, Comment all you want...

So I watered them today because they were looking kind of depressed. It was straight water. Can I use distilled water?
I also tied them up more to expose more possible bud sites. These pictures are before watering.. Both platns got almost 1 gallon of 6.0 PHed water..

Next watering: Age Old Organics

Small Fry: 80; Humidity 55%
Slow Poke: 82; Humidity 50%
Box Temp 78

Small Fry are the first 2 pics and Slow poke are the Second 2. Possible bud site(main cola) from Slow Poke in the 5th picture...

Thanks for stopping by....

Question,
Can I use distilled water when watering?
I believe you can, I swear i have read threads that thats all people use (well they use the self fill up water stations). But i personally have never used it to water (mass root bound plants would eat it up like mad :p ) But i would have to assume it would be more healthy than using water out of your tap. but that is just assuming and to assume is to make an ASS out of U and ME. :p

This is a little peice of info i found about distilled water

DISTILLED WATER
Some growers report purified or distilled water helps their weed plants grow faster. Perhaps due to sodium and heavy metals found in hard water that are not present in purified water. Hard water tends to build up alkaline salt deposits in soil that lockup trace minerals, and cause iron, copper and zinc deficiencies. There are several types of purified water, but many are not free of minerals that could be causing salt buildup over an extended period of time.
Tap water comes in two flavors. Hot and cold. The cold pipe has less calcium and sodium buildup in it, and should be freer of sediment once the water has been turned on and allowed to flow for 30 seconds. Hot water will have rust, lead deposits, and lots of sodium and calcium, so much so, you will see it easily. Use only the amount of hot water needed to make the water the correct temperature (70-80 F). Tap water filtered through a carbon (charcoal) filter will be free of chlorine and most large particles, but will still contain dissolved solids such as sodium and heavy metals (lead, arsenic, nickel, etc.).
Purified bottled water will be either Reverse Osmosis or some form of carbon/sediment filtered water. When purchasing water at a store, unless it says RO or Distilled, don’t bother buying it. It could still have the same dissolved solids and heavy metals your tap water has.
