1st grow attempt

1st SOIL grow (my hydro DWC was failing and then.....THE CAT GOT IT weeping

I just set up 2 seeds (I was told they were AK47 but I dunno) In 2 4" pots with 1/4 perlite and 3/4 jiffy-mix about 1-1 1/2 cm deep and put enough water to moisten the top but not soak. When should I start my CFL's? I't seems starting them now would be a waist as it would dry out the medium.

I chose not to use the paper towel method of germination.

Any advise would be greatly appreciated

I never had very good results germing in soil. And unless you do Id suggest a different method. Check out the first page of my grow journal for a method that is very successful for me.

I only chose the soil germ because I have a edgy schedule at work right now. I hope it goes ok but i'm not sure if I will have time to mess with them when their ready.
