Ok,
So this is my 1st real attempt @ this, I have been reading for years and seen a few friends doing things on a large scale but never myself. Here are my details:

Closet: approximately 10 sq.ft closet (4.75 ft long x 2.1 ft wide) which I am planning on shortening with black&white poly to be approximately 3 ft long (5.72 sq. ft) to increase my watts/sq. ft from ~40 to ~65/70.

Light: A Borrowed P.L Lighting 400 watt HPS with non-cooled or enclosed reflector. (the lights from '92!! Crazy)

Bulb: BRAND new Hortilux Super HPS 400 watt

Soil: 2:1 Oceans Forest & light warrior w/ added Rare Earth & treated w/ Earth Nectar & Earth Ambrosia. In 1 gal bags, going into 3 gal soon until finish. pH around 6.8-7

T/RH: Around 72-76F, 40-50% RH

Strain: Seeds from seeded batch of diesel x super silver haze, heard some great white shark in there too.

Nuts: Pure Blend Pro soil; Sugar Daddy; Alg-a-mic (4 veg); Liquid Karma; Cal-Mag+; Top-Max (will use 4flower); Hormex (4transplant); Rare Earth in soil.
-- Distilled water---
So far I have 4 lil girls (hopefully!), I am cloning to determine sex this week. They have been going on 18/6 since approximately 5-10-09, but the bulb was VERY old & new one installed 6-5-09 . I have them about 12-15" from the bulb with a constant fan blowing on them.
Height: #1= ~23-25 cm; #2=~15 cm; #3=~13 cm; #4=~9.5 cm.
:?: Do these #s sound like the plants are stunted w/ the amount of time they have been vegging? I can't tell.
I am LSTing them using pipe cleaners, wrapping them as in dierwolfs image. Upon flowering I am planning on using CO2, Lots in my little space & maybe adding in some Advanced nutrients big bud and carbo load ( or humboldt honey) but am not sure. I will add pictures tomorrow once I find my camera but so far I think I'm doing alright for a complete rookie.
My girl bounced, I just graduated from college & instead of moving to california I am still @ home struggling to find a job so I need some success in my life and I am trying to get the absolute most out of my little space.
:?: I have a question though: Once I flower & start to rage the CO2, talking the absolute peak ppm, can I completely enclose the area & forget about intake/exhaust air as long as the Temp stays in the right range?
Sorry this has been wordy, but I'm also sort of a forum rook & wanted to give all the details I can. Pics tomorrow, & can any one inform me on my question?
Thank You all for the wisdom, time & help to all us learners..

If you completely close it off with no venting in or out, that 400HPS will make your closet like an oven and bake everything to a crispy golden DEAD. You will have heat issues unless you vent out the heat.

Coolcool,
SO even if the CO2 is something crazy like 2000 ppm, what if I throw in a small air conditioner?
i guess I could just have an inline attached to a duct thats pulling from directly next to the light... Im just worried about light tightness & figured closing would be easier & more reliable, plus was planning on FILLING it with co2 and didn't want to waste.

OK, so i totally fell off on this one, but heres the results.. Ended up keeping two indoors, I tied them both down quite a bit & vegged for maybe 2 months. Flowered for 10 weeks in 3 gal bags w/ all organics... total dried yield was alil over 4 ozs. About 2 ozs per plant- quality was out of control.. Could have been better, but for a budget tiny closet & it being my 1st attempt, i think 4 ozs off 2 plants is pretty good...
