@reeffermadness: Thanks bro!

@str8_pimpin: They are only good for veg because unfortunately fluorex does not make the 65 watt bulbs in any color but 6500k. If they had 2700k bulbs I would love to do the entire grow with the same hood, but as it is I'm planning on buying an HPS for the flowering.

@bchbum: Glad I could help! I've read so many helpful posts on here in the last couple weeks that I felt I should give at least one back. :mrgreen:

5/21/2007 (Day 17):

The one in the front right started drooping pretty bad yesterday so I moved it to the side a bit in hopes it would grow back toward the left & light.

The two best:

One of the transplants from last week died so I replaced it with a new guy, while the other was extremely stunted and just now seems to be making a comeback:

Long time no update, sorry about that.

Well for reasons outside my control I had to move five of the plants outside. I still have three inside but those will also be going outside any day now. The three remaining ones were the smallest of the bunch which is why I kept them inside so long:

The outside ones look almost identical, but without yellowing at the bottom and a bit larger.

How do they look?

Thanks for the kind words guys, you're awesome.

I call the small one on the right in the first picture 'comatose'. I transplanted it only a few days after it sprouted (see page 1) and it went into some kind of coma for 3 weeks where it remained healthy but didn't grow even a millimeter. Almost all that growth has happened in the last week or so...it bugs me out. Anyways...

I read FAQ's and browsed the message boards a great deal before beginning this grow, but honestly over the last few weeks I've become lazy with them. I don't have a thermostat and I've never checked the PH...its just pure luck or decent genetics that the plants are still standing IMO...but then again I am a noob to this. At first I was doing it to gain experience for my 2nd grow... because this was bag seed and I wasn't expecting much, but now I'm in some weird way I'm getting attached to these plants. That sounds kind of gay...but since they have no sex yet and I'm praying for 8 girls maybe it isn't ;)

Anyways...I'm going to start taking them more seriously but I need some help.

Judging from the first picture, does it look like its time to transplant the two larger ones?

The one on the left drinks a quart of water per day, does that seem normal? If I don't completely flood (all of them except comatose) every 24 hours they start drooping badly...but it just seems like too much water?

Since these are going to join my other ones outside, should I bother with topping down the road or let them grow naturally? (Its a secure location with no sight/smell issues)

How do they look genetically? Indica I assume?

Just realized how funny that carbon filter must look...lol. I'm moving in a couple weeks so I haven't installed it yet. The move is also whats prompting these guys to go outside permanently.
