1st Grow Ever -- Indoor-CFL -- New Pics Every Few Days

Heere we go. It's been a week since ive posted new pics so heres an update from today.

I've currently got 23 000ish lumens shining in the closet right now. 9 different 42 watt CFLs. I just bought two 400 Watt metal halide bulbs on ebay too! Which each put out 23 000 lumens of red spectrum light..would be GREAT for flowering..ill probably plug those in in april sometime. Or I might just stick to CFL this time and save those guys for next.

Also I'm thinking of adding another shelf halfway up the closet so i can grow 2 big females instead of just 1..it would up my yield by alot for sure but itd be tough to maneuver things up at the top of the closet (since it is 8 feet high at least).

Anyways what do you think?

if youre waiting for my permission to post, youve got it! my grow really that uninteresting?:-(
no its going really well as i can see....i have to ask, what is your medium, and what nutes are you using? like the NPK level i dont care what brand....thanks dude, and good growing!

nah man looks like ur doing everything right . i wouldnt recomend mh for flowering hps are way better in that area. lookin real good man keep it up i will be watchin how this gos

thanks guys

yeah i know ill need a ballast for the metal halides..i think i'll just hold on to them and buy the ballasts/use them for the next grow

as for my nutrient levels right now..i started using primarily 8-7-6 (N-P-K), and as of now im using mostly 8-7-6 still cuz i know more nitrogen is good for veg, and im starting to add small amounts of 10-15-10 to the mix now too cuz i know flowering feeds on alot of phosphorus. and once they start actually flowering im going to keep upping the phosphorus while keeping good nitrogen/potash levels in the mix too. this sound good?

Lookin good! I'm right around the same point you're at with my first grow. Just one plant, and I'm only using 2 dinky 13 watt bulbs so it's somewhat slow going, but seems to be working pretty well. Hopefully I'll have pictures on on my computer soon.

Keep it up!

What kind of seeds did you use? My plant looks somewhat similar.

Keep it up! and keep posting pics, cause I'm definitely interested!

thanks man. whoa, only 26 watts for the plant? yikes you better invest in some hefty CFL's or something lol.

i dont even know what strain this is that im growing. the only info the guy who sold them to me had was that it was from a "bomb batch"..haha

and yeah ill def keep posting pics every 5 days or so.

WOW looking good....Im trying something like that and was wondering whatt kind of bulbs you are using?Whats the wattage per bulb?

thaanks bro i am using 42 Watt CFL's..a mix of Phillips and Sylvania brand. The Phillips ones are best I think..they put out 2600 lumens each. ive got 9 of them in there now..you can get them in natural daylight (6500K, blue spectrum) or normal (2300ish K, red spectrum)

they do the trick

:leaf:

hahaha i love it..italian for i need to be on top. yes..its exactly that:D

Really: its going good man. yeah thanks again for the help i found quality stuff from drbudgreengenes. im thinking next time i might try SOG..im moving out of this apt this september though so im going to be looking for the perfect place for a bigger better grow hehe..anyways, im starting 12/12 flowering this friday, so i'll definitely post the last pics from veg before then

Finally worked up the energy to take some new pics, haha..i put em into 12/12 yesterday so itll be good to finally see some bud.

i can see preflowers on each plant already, prob because of all the right light thats been on them for a while (still about 40% blue though..will keep increasing red gradually til harvest). the good news is that at least 3 of the 4 plants is female. i think one might be a male. but 3 are definitely female!!!:!:

currently at 252 watts of CFL's on each shelf aka 15 600 lumens shining at each of the 2 levels

yeah i added another level. thought it would be a good idea since these plants wont get over 4 feet tall, probably not even 3.5 feet and the closet is 8 feet high. its good the extra shelf will pretty much double the yield.

anyways, what dyou think?
