if you have a good space you dont have to go 12/12 from seed, just veg until their the right size for you then switch to flowering. and yea a good HPS bulb is all you need 600 or 400 would be perfect

so i got a couple questions then ill post my new pic. so i found a bunch of these metal halide / halogenures 100w flood lights can i use those for anything or they not worth my time to bring home? and is it ok to trim branches and lollipop during flower?

so here they are 1 week into flowering

dont worry i enjoy helping you out, as far as those lights go ive never heard of them im gonna have to check them out. and as for lollipopping in flower its ok to do it. by the way man the plants are looking insanely healthy and clean, not too bushy.

yeah im trying i really cant wait to figure what i wanna do for lights cause i want more plants for sure. and another thing i wont do is during my 12/12 cycle is have the lights off at nights kinda drops the temp but they seem fine.

dont stress the light situation all you need is one HPS and your golden, check out a hydro shop near you or online. and you could have the lights on at night and on during the day, but theres nothing wrong with a little drop in the temp as long as its not to much.

no just one HPS will be great for both veg and flower, just switch it to 12/12 and it will do the job

so you may be able to get more light if the walls were reflective. i got those mylar sheets (i think thats what they are called). cheap. easy. and the plants that are closer to the walls, grow bigger ive noticed.

yeah i def wanna get some reflective stuff on the walls after i figure where do get a cheap 400w hps and reflector. i was just curious why some people prefer dirt it seems like hydro is just faster and makes healthy plants just wanted to know why you guys choose dirt.

so one of my plants is starting to get these little green sacks towards the tops of the chola does this mean its a male and i should kill it off?

yeah thats what im hoping for i kept looking at all 3 and noticed that one had a bunch of little round balls in between the top branches so he had to go. i think next grow im gonna get some good seeds probably femm so i dont have to deal with males

plants lookin good....too bad one of them is a male. the setup i got going on right now, i'm hoping i've got one or two males...i'm runnin out of room lol

yea i dont really like going thru the hassle of males, so i just get some fem'd seeds it saves time and effort.

hey next grow i am getting femm seeds probably mix and match and strains come to mind that will just get you straight high? im also gonna mylar the closet and get some small fans to put in corners cause i think im gonna get a 400whps.
