All right this is my first grow, and i just wanna get all my fuck ups outta the way before i go off to college in hawaii and grow there.
I started the process at the start of february, and its now middle of march and i just now have all the supplies and ive got everything set up. i didnt realize how much time just setting up would take.
a couple friends and I ordered seeds through Weed Seeds - Buy Marijuana Seeds Online from Weed Seeds but when a buddy of mine went to germinate nothing happened. He spent 50 bucks on ten little seeds and he got nothing. I hadnt tried germinating yet and when i heard i decided to hold on to em for Hawaii and just use schwag seeds. So as of right now, i have those little suckers germinating
I decided to grow in my attic, and so far its turning out pretty well. I am growing everything hydroponically and i built a ebb and flow system out of those huge ass 30 gallon or something plastic containers. Its only big enough to hold 3 plants but its cool cuz this is an experimental grow.
Im using only a 400 watt hps bulb as my light source but i figure as i get more experienced ill bump up to using cfls and metal halides for the different stages.
oh ya and wish me good luck because i do still live with my parents and though my mom is completely cool with it (she actually suggested growin), my dad is an ass about it. However, my dad works in canada and only comes home two weekends a month. so that could be a bit of problem somewhere down the line.
Well i guess thats about it for now, im waiting on the seeds to germinate and ill get em going. oh ya, im using floragrow nutrients (the 3 step process, florogrow, floramicro, and florabloom) and im still not certain on how often i will need to be watering but from what ive read on here i think im going to have to play around with that.
