1st Grow: How does it look?

I'm a first time grower and I was wondering how my set up looked and how the plants are coming. I'm also wondering if the brown burnt looking parts on two of my plants was caused by nutrient burn or something else and how I can treat it.

The Set Up:
- Gutted a dresser and lined interior with foil.
- Exhaust Fan built into top.
- 6 42watt CFLs

Nutrients:
- Advanced Nutrients Grow/Micro/Bloom

Plants:
- 4 Red Hair Skunk from Seeds

Nice wan! Might I suggest scrapping the foil & putting up some mylar instead? It's a lot more reflective & it doesn't crinkle when you look at it wrong. :D

You're going to run out of vertical space really quick. Unless you feel like flowering them right now I'd be working on a scrogg or something. Besides that, it looks like a nice pre veg chamber but you're going to need to find an option that has more vertical space if you want a decent yield. That looks like nute burn btw. You can cut it off or just let it die off.

^^^ as everyone says.
no foil.
pick up some mylar.
good idea with the dresser though.
might need a new spot soon they will grow quickly.

Thank everyone, I was planning on switching to mylar so I'm gonna get that underway.
Just so happened that i had foil on hand when i built it.
Going to use the LST grow method so as to limit vertical grow.
So should I cut off the dead spots?
And heat hasn't really been a problem it sits at right about 75 while the lights are on and 70 when they're off.

id say its a matter of personal preferece some ppl will remove leaves that are 50% or more damaged and others dont like to remove anything at all....personal preference......but im a newbie and thats just what ive read in several different threads so......

Looks nice, I'll second (third, fourth, whatever we're up to now) what others have said about the space and foil.

The brown spots look like physical damage to me, specifically they look like burns from contacting lights or something like that. You might want to get some Rhino Skin or something like that to help keep 'em small. It doesn't make a huge difference but a regular dose of silica promotes shorter internodes and stockier plants. Every little bit will help. All in all, looks good. I'd recommend tossing them some Big Bud when you flip to 12-12.
