merry christmas everyone. and you too sicc, i know that you were going to try and harvest today. did ya?
any way, i had forgotten to change out my bulbs when i went to 12/12, so today i changed them from 6500k to 2700k all 26watt.
she is really filling out too. i will try and post some pics tomorrow around noon when i do her noon ph check. she is sleeping right now.

i know that is should be way too soon to be able to tell sex, but is this what i think it is? hairs?

could be a preflower, too small to tell but it does look like hairs. female calyxes are squash or eggplants shaped, and are long and skinny compared to a short fat football lookin male pollen sacks when you first see them and male sacs will be in clusters several days after they show sex. but soon enough you will be able to tell for sure.

LOL, glad I'm not the only one who got that impression ha. Your beauty is looking so nice, I'm back from campus (for obvious reasons) I left my plants at my house, but it's only an hour drive so I go back every 3rd day to feed them ha, it's a nice surprise to see the growth every 3 days as well.

i love "inspecting" lol new growth every day. i just put my flowering female and 2 veged ones under my new HPS light.. scrapped the cfls. and they love it! the buds are exploding from just 2 days under the new light. absolutely incredible lol ... keep up the good work! you are awsome!

thanks man, she looks a lot better than in the beginning huh. she just woke up so i went in there to check her ph and i found more hairs! so i am pretty sure its a girl! i also started lsting her. tied down the 2 main colas so that every thing will get more light. i may venture out and get an hsp bulb today.

I have basic electrical knowledge so if i can't follow what you say then i will ask.
Ok here goes, i picked up 2 150 watt HID HPS Sylvania bulbs that have a medium bottom (looks like it will fit in a regular light socket) the numbers on the bulb are S55.
how would i go about making a ballast for these 2 light bulbs? step by step instructions would be great along with pics if possible. please help.
