I also just started on RIU. I just started a grow last week. Been working on my journal as well. Feel free to check it out. If you could just let us know the specifics of your setup and then im sure we can go from there 
As for the overfeeding, its a good idea to be cautious when introducing nutes. I think most only use 1/4 strength after the first couple of weeks. Then go up a little at a time from there based on how they grow. Good luck and happy growing. Keep us posted

Keep us postedi believe da tent is 4x4x6.5 i cant rember think this is a hydroponic/bubbleponic system i got a 4inch fan in there actually 3 fans different sizes Technaflora 726740 Recipe for Success B.C. Bloom Starter kit[/URL] is the nutes and yea i had it switched to one 1/4th of the nutes their like at 450 ppm i aright now 4inch air cool reflector
yea their growing superfast right now besides that little baby one it took a major hit first week it's just now trying to bounce back but i will fimm them and supercrop a few probably switch into flowering when the smallest ones get 12inches the larger ones will probably be 12inches by next week so they'll probably be close to 24 inches when the go into flowering i got 13 plants hoping to get atleast 2lbs minimum

Glad to hear they bounced back for you gullie. I'm running a very similar setup to yours...nutes and all. Just posted new pics I think for my first grow I'm gonna try topping them. Maybe just once, but wont know until I get there ya know? I hear it has marvelous effects! Keep us posted as always

Keep us posted as alwaysnp i'll probably post a pic today if they've gained a few inches i've been getting a good couple an inches a day i will top them when the smallest ones reach about 15inches and the biggest will be 24 or over i've already started supercropping one branch just to test it see if im doing it properly i think they'll be very vicious plants i'm using doggie nuts northern lights #1and a superponic system from supercloset
pineapples are towering at this point btw those nl are doggie nuts nl#1 just incase anybody wanted to know the kind just ordered a net trellis going to try to get these things under some type of control hopefully if the nl reaches 1ft by the end of this week which im guessing they will they'll be fimmed and put into flowering mode
yea you go to keep it clean had any1 ever used doggie nuts nl#1 their like 2sumthin for 10 seeds i bought em their the short bushy ones just wanted to know how good they are switching to flowerin next week pe already 26 inches i just fimmed them waiting for the nl to get atleast 12 or over which should be tomorrow so by next week they should be atleast 15 inches and fimmed hopping to yeild a whole lot mayb 2lbs what do you guys think there is 13 plants in there

Do you have a thermometer/hygrometer? I'm not sure if it's just the pictures or not but it looks like your top leaves are cupping a little which means they're trying to release heat. How close is the Hps?
