1st grow, mama mia and blueberry, 1000w

Have you made a plan to control your canopy height? Once they stretch you may have a bit of hard time trying to keep everything somewhat level. Growing different strains in the same tent can be a pain, not to mention the limited height. Topping and lst or scrog should work for all but the auto. However I have zero actual experience growing an auto.

Yeah I was iffy about that because of trying to have an even canopy, wanting a couple choices won out over it tho, but they're all indica strains so hoping that's good enough, it also means the stretch will probably be minimal as far as it goes, assuming a double in height is pretty safe ain't gotta worry about no sativa trying to triple on me and I've got plenty of soft wire for lst with plenty of time to mess with them and don't mind it. As far as the auto, I was originally planning to mainline the rest which would've added a few weeks to the veg that would already be quite long as filling the 5x5 should be a while. That way I could keep it under 18/6 the whole life and get some early smoke while vegging the others. It was a free seed anyway so why not right. And after some consideration I don't think I will mainline as it's my first grow, just top once.

I think you may be surprised just how much they will stretch. Some blueberry pheno’s will easily triple.

Some blueberry strains are also prone to hermaphroditism and being fussy feeders.

Aw damn I was hoping for a nice easy go, it's seedsman btw dunno if that changes the situation, but it's not the legit blueberry by dj short I would imagine

So its been 4 days since last photo and rather than a new post every day I'll just lump everything in this one, here's a day 9 shot

been watering around every 3-4 days ish whenever soil start getting a little dry, and yeah pretty much it for le update.

Thanks guys, lol I have to keep slapping my own hand away cuz the newb within wants to do newb shit, I can't wait until that auto is done cuz it'll last me until the rest gets cut.

if anyone has kind of a good eye for these things, it's an afghan kush ryder from world of seeds, supposed to have a 60 day ish from seed life, ideally I'd want to veg the photos until I chop the auto so it gets the 18 hours of light.

kind of a loaded question but about how long would it take to fill out that 5x5 in veg?

My original plan was to mainline to take advantage of the extra veg time I may not do that as it's my first grow, prob just top once or something, but if anyone can give a range that'd be great

Day 13, may have done a bit too much water for the auto, the bigger pot is harder to gauge and the leaves are curled down, looks like I'll just cut way back on that. the rest looking good and it's pretty smooth sailing only scraped the bottom of the boat a bit.

Day 15 couple plants are starting to get kinda wavy leaves, thinking ph might be a bit high runoff is kinda hard to gage color in the ph test kit. Tap water is 7-7.5 gonna do like a drop of ph down in a gallon for watering next time around. The auto is very obvious at this point, the preflowers or node leaves whatever you wanna call em are much more pronounced than the rest of the photoperiods, can't wait for budz to start popping like a month down the road.
Here's wavy, not even that bad just like the very start of slightly high ph showing.
and here's the autos 2x or 3x bigger node leaves.

Day 17 the auto smells like a baby skunk lol like so good, idk about anyone else but the only time I had afghan kush shit had this amazing crisp almost pine taste/smell with the skunky notes. Some literal overnight growth starting to kick in at this point, all looking very nice.

Day 18, go 420 update, almost time to water 4 days since the last. Might give another day or 2 to let those roots get a nice wake up call. All of them are finishing up the 4th node and looking pretty good, probably gonna explode any day now. Cotelydons still nice and healthy so plenty of nutes available, watching grass grow has always been a metaphor up until now lmao.

Happy 420 bro take it easy on the water man you got some big pots there and small plants so you can go a week without watering I never put water in the schedule it's always when they needed once they get bigger might have to water once every 2 or 3 days and you start hating it.r at least i do

Thanks for the tip, the humidity goes way down with any central air usage so I end up over caring a bit, can't wait to top and grab some clones to try flowering under some cfl bulbs. The waiting, it's killing meee

Thanks bro, same here. Actually ended up topping the oldest plant yesterday, 5th node to the 4th, I'll upload that in a couple days.

Day 22, all but the auto have been topped, 2 of which I've started prep for mainlining, hopefully things pick up from here. The close up is the auto.

They do have DJ Shorts Blueberry though, among many other blueberry strains. Not cheap though, almost $15/seed.
