1st grow NEED HELP BADLY!!!

Ok, so I'm just gonna jump in bc I need help from a EXPERIENCED cultivator in these manners. Please be patient as I'm hungover, manic, irish and on 4 hours of sleep. this is my first grow, I picked up seeds over 2 years ago and never had the chance to start growing due to my boxing career. The seeds featured are critical + by dinafem and AK47 by serious seedbank. The growing medium used is miracle gro organic potting soil. I have been watering daily and have them under 8 t5 high output florous (sometimes I have 4 of the 8 lights on when tempetures are optimal but usually all 8 due to these cold nights) I've been using bottled spring water, and all seedlings are in a 10x5 grow tent. about 4-5 days ago I noticed yellowing on the biggest AK and then shortly after all of the colydens were yellow on all plants. As of Monday, the biggest AK has brown spots on it's fan leaves. I'm not sure if it's the medium I'm using, my water supply, my lighting or experience. No nutes, only MG organic potting soil. It has light traces of chicken litter for fertilization but nothing heavy enough to burn it (I've seen other grow logs use it before). What should my watering schedule be like if I don't water everyday? I'm also keeping them 12-16 inches from the t5's so I know it's not light burn.

It's not light burn 4 sure probz over water.

When the pot feels light compared to wet or water the pot weigh it but that a ball ache tbh no one can say how often to water as rh temp plant size medium all effect watering frequency just water when the pot feels very light compared to when u just watered

Edit mg potting soil is quite strong too so it could be burn?

Ok, do you think they can be saved? And is it normal for the top of the medium to get so dry that water doesn't even soak in instantly, instead it pools and then slowly gets absorbed. I did think it was an overwatering problem and I adjusted my watering slighty 3 days ago but the problem persists.

It's more likely burn and over water

U might of seen others use it but all plants and strains want different levels of nutrition so that doesn't mean much tbh

Yeah u have compacted soil that's bad u should mix with a bit perlite to stop it compacting the seedling roots are probz rotting by now only thing I can suggest to save them is transplant them into some good loose airy soil that isn't strong or even top soil and just water till u see improved growth

You say chicken shit isn't very strong, ALL bird shits are strong, over watering is obvious,
You need to add garden lime to your soil to PH balance the soil, you can get some from lowes or home depot for a few bucks a 40 to 50 pound bag, it is very cheep , it will add calcium to the soil and will not let the PH get over 7.
Flush the soil with plenty of ph balanced water, add some garden lime to the top soil and mix it into the water also, this will drive some of the bird poop you added to the soil out of it and will help PH the soil you have it in, then let it dry out good and rewater,,always ph your water, around 6 is normally good,
If they don't pull out of it in a few days start moving up you will have to start over,
But its worth a shot,

Moving up? I'm a little confused here. Should I add lime and perlite to the potting soil and then flush?

Personally to save time and I would start more seeds in a soil perlite mix 70/30 and only water with water for first 2 to 3 weeks or until they begin to pale and only water when the pot is LIGHT I MEAN VERY LIGHT but before the plant droops if that any help lol
I wouldn't bother trying to save them in that soil as it's compacted now and will be till u repot into bigger pots

And u can only add perlite by mixing with soil before u plant init

you are not going to be able to add perlite to the existing soil, if you transplant it you can add it to the soil you transplant it too,but not now, garden lime you can dress into the top of the soil, DRESS means mix a little into the very top of the soil, you can also add garden lime to the water you put into the soil, do not use fast acting garden lime,use regular garden lime,
ALWAYS PH your water to around 6,You can check your water run off by pouring ph balanced water into the container and catching some of it coming from the bottom of the container and check the ph from it,
If you are growing in dirt ALWAYS add garden lime, perlite is nice to add too, but not always necessary , depending on the type of soil you are using.
If you add any kinds of bird poop do not add it to anything that is a seedling,,and if you add it to anything be VERY VERY sparing with it,

I think you can save these, just follow what makka and max420thc said. I've had seedlings look worse than that and after I corrected drainage and overwatering they recovered, just remember to look at new growth because what you see on old leaves will persist.

Ok, thanks boys. I just picked up perlite and hydrated lime (peat moss and EWC as well for my LC mix). Should I add the perlite and lime to the MG organic potting soil or should I just add it to the peat moss? Here's a pic of what I got

I also read that super thrive is good for transplanting. Should I apply it to the rootball when put in bigger pots?

you can save those ,get some quality garden soil mix 30% perlite with it ,let your pots dry up to the point that you can break away most of the medium you have them in ,do it slowly/by the time you see a few roots you can then stick into your new pot and use some root powder before transplanting in new hole,i have done this before i know it works .if you cant get happy frog or roots organic get some top line lowes or home depote garden soil,miracle grow has a lot of slow release nutrients in it ,that is good for gardens not weed,when you buy soil make sure it isnt slow release.after you transplant and use root powder water it in.put a pot the same as your pot your growing in ,inside your grow tip it on it side a little and feel the weight of it ,you can judge your pots the girls are in this way,tip the mock up and then tip your plant when you feel they are light then water,this tip will help a lot resoning behind this method is some times i can pick a pot up and not be able to tell by tipping it you are sure to feel the difference.hope this will help you a little it did me when i first started growing,after a while you will no exactly when to feed

Oh man.. I'm pretty far from a walmart/ace hardware and that's all they have (currently living about an hour from civilization) do you think I should wait and return this perlite tmrw and will my plants be affected with another day in these conditions?

ok seeing how you are far away from town ,do you live out in the woods or have acess to it? just saying walk around and when you come across a fallen tree ,stomp on it ,if you can stomp your foot threw it ,take all the compost from it and mix in your soil,i dont think you are in that bad a shape were a day would matter ,just steer clear of the miracle and time release
