1ST Grow PICS. comments pls...

Before i started my first grow, i read everything i possibly could. then i got some female clones (royal empress, exotic) and wow have they grown! all are over 30'', in 5th day of flowering. got them 2nd week of january.
i have more clones growing, they seem to be doing ok. they are in the 7-13'' range already.
any comments would be appreciated. still very new at this!!

Nice and tall, surprised you didn't LST or anything but since it's first time, I guess that's ok. I'd watch for that yellowing on that one plant, its also got curling of the leaves (and yellowing) at least halfway up the plant. I'm new as well but that is a HUGE warning sign, maybe a deficiency of some sort? Couldn't tell you. Hopefully someone here can

That's pretty typical for a clone bought at a club to have its first leaves die off. But yeah it looks like a lack of Nitrogen...

looking great, man! I would just say that you should remove the dead fan leaves. Once theyre around 50% dead, they just suck energy away from more needing parts of the plant. Now, being dead, they can attract disease and whatnot. Just clean that up, and it looks like you're doing great!

thanks boys and girls. i'll take that all into account and post more pictures later. the big ones are in their 5th day of flowering, and getting f**king big!! i just got some nutrients, started that with 2 days ago and already see a difference. thanks again.

yes i know! i'm going to give the big ones that are flowering just a little bit of nutes, to help the yellowing leafs, but other than that, i'm gonna let them be. i've been winging it since the start and they've done pretty good, figure i'll keep at it.

Do some digging for the elusive Marijuana Nut. Not many plants can produce them....sort of like a 4 leaf clover. That looks like it might be a contender to pump out some good nuts. You eat them like peanuts. :eyesmoke:

i have to say, although fairly new, i've read a lot, watched a lot of videos and how-to stuff.. but i've never heard anything about the elusive nut!!! lol i'll have to look into that. i think with my 2nd batch, i will induce flowering earlier, these things are way too big!! :)

I must be totally missing where you listed your nutrients.

Whatever you're doing is awesome and working for you.

I mean, my Advanced Nutrients lineup (Sensi A&B Grow, Sensi A&B Bloom, Voodoo Juice, Overdrive, Big Bud, B-52) is rad, right now, but I want to know what's growing these super plants.

motherhugger, when i first got the clones, i used NO nutes! just good soil, water, a bit of miracle grow. for some reason they grew really well! i have a wicked set up with good space, air and ventilation. i just started using nutes and will barely use it on the big ones, they don't need it!!

also.. quick question... will a 5 foot plant bud more than say a 1 foot plant???? or does it matter how big the plant is??
