1st grow...ppm issues

I started my first grow oct 20...im in the flowering stage now...1st week...nov 23...im just learning about ppm...im a little confused on what at least a good base ppm should be....jock horror..at first was yellowing...so i cut the nutrients down to 1 gallon watr with nutrients and 3 gallons without nutrients and that seemed to help...but now i have to change the nutrients to water ratio for flowering im scared im going to stunt my plant which is already not going to b what it should til i get bettr lights....ne advise? right now i have 2 part watr with nutrients and 2 parts just watr in fear to go full strength...have very hard water here...but i do have a filter on way to see if that will help

PH is the most important.
Are you in soil or DWC?
If you keep it @ 1000 ppm you should be alright, the important thing is to use a blooming combo of nutes. The flower stage requires different nutes than the veg stage. AND I ALWAYS ADD CALMAG+ to the res. or you can foliar spray it. I do both

Tap is about 100 PPM and well water can be from 200 to 300 PPM to start. Depending on your stain you can push high PPM about 1200 after you are well into flower. If you are unsure I would at least keep it to 600+ or you are not going to give your girls enough food to produce well. I would try to search here for your strain and fine some details on it. You can get RO water at many self serve stations at like grocery stores or a pharmacy for about 25 cents a gallon.

just checked on my lil growing girl....she is at 773 ppm right now ph had spiked agian to 7.7..i lowered it to 5.7...so i should raise the nutrients levels? to 1000? its an all hydro grow...my lil starter closet project

scotty thnks im might eventually invest in a ro system..but i think the buy by the gallon option is a great ideal..i also checked into distilling my own water..if i didnt work so many hours i would but it look very time consuming..anothr just buy by the gallon option

poor plant minding its own business when..crash..light comes tumbling down...now its broke..got it stilted with a paper clip...leaves tilting towards light.....added gallon of watr with even nutes...put a fan on it..change light to a 150 hps...ph..6.2....ppm...858..watr temp...78...
