1st grow problems

I am on my 3rd week for Critical kush photoperiod Female & 4th week for my Royal Creamatic autoflower female. A little back ground is I started my seedlings in tap water with ph of 7, using peat pots I used fox farms ocean forest soil. About a week and a half i placed them in 3g pots. They were doing great, I started to feed them at 2 weeks with grow big & big bloom they were doing great by the beginning of the 3rd week my critical kush started to change color leaving brown / yellowish spots and then my leaves became crispy. My royal Creamatic start having brown spots as well. I figured a had a magnesium deficiency so I used one ts on CalMag in 1 1/2 gallon of water no nutrients. I used purified water ph'd at 7 (using drops). Though my runoff was acidic ..below 5! I just set the plant back in my tent hoping the cal mag fixes the issue. this is my first grow I have no clue what I'm doing... Any tips about what I should do from this point fwd?

Autos are tricky....but crispy leaves and what you are describing usually means over watering damage. I wouldnt feed yet till flower cycle because the Ocean forest will feed for you...but FF line does lack calmag. Once you over water you are drowning the roots from nutrient uptake .....so could be a few factors here

Yes that's what I thought! But after research & pics of deficiencies mine matched the magnesium problem to me but they were prob burning as well. I just realized I added 1 tablespoon instead of teaspoon of cal/ mag so now I'm really fucked I think

Fox farms has enough nutrients for a month don't start feeding them until after four weeks sounds like to much nitrogen

I also mix soil one part fox farms ocean Forrest one part fox farms happy frog one part cocco noir helps make soil not so hot and cocco helps retain and drain water very well and is cheaper then soil so it saves a little money

Also I use general hydroponics flora series and have never needed to use cal mag the guys at the local hydro shop fold me I would not need cal mag with the general hydroponics flora series nutes
