Nice dude i got the promo also.ordered my next batch of seeds big buddha cheese will start that around xmas. also got the dutch passions blueberry and white widow plus some other seeds.

well my camera died on me but man the girls are getting phat!!! i can really only hold 4-5 plants in my veg unit. i think SLH #3 is about 17" in diameter. will be putting in flower in another week or so. i still don't see any pre flowers will wait till i see those till i put them in flower though.

hey DIRK D - I'm sub'd. Keep an eye on your PH... as I was reading through your thread after you directed me over here, I was asking the question "what's his PH?"... then finally you posted 7.4! ouch! for a hydro grow... but, looks good so far - get that camera fixed and post some pics.... need to compare to my SLH as I started from seed on 10/30. we're real close on the grows, so it will be fun!

the 7.4 PH was on my new cloner. i didnt put any plants in it. was just setting it up. i ran a solution of clonex and superthrive only for the cloning system. but my Ph in the veg unit is at 5.8 and the cloner i believe last time i checked was 5.9. my veg unit is like the freakin amazon jungle right now will borrow a camera and post some pics this weekend.

hey kiki what kind of lighting are u using?? im setting up my flower units today and am stuck between a 600 or 1000. also my SLH #3 sprouted on 10/29 so that is almost exactly the same date as yours. but SLH #3 is a freakin pig. she is looking the best of the 3. i'm hoping to get that purple pheno i read about here.

if you want dank bud - go 1000w hps!! I'm obviously still in the veg stage under a 1000w MH. My ballast is switchable, so in 10 days when I flip them to flower, I will just flip the switch on the ballast, and the put HPS bulb into the hood! Still no camera??

Very nice hydro set up. I am very new and I am finishing my 1st grow(soil) made tons of mistakes. LOL. My next grow I am going with DWC. I am also thinking about getting SLH. So I will be here for the ride. Those roots are looking nice bro, keep up the good work.

man just checked on the girls they are freakin growing like crazy. ya i made a lot of mistakes as well but im getting better. biggest mistake was not having a ways for the veg and clone to get some fresh air. working on that today and will have my first flowering unit up by tomorrow i think. will post pics then.

alright went and spent a shit load of cash today. got almost everything i need. got the frame of my first flower unit done. will finish frame #2 and #3 tomorrow. bought all my nutes and a 600w hps with a nice big reflector 6". still need some inline fans and carbon will get sometime next week. girls are freaking huge. godzilla huge. they have covered everything in my veg unit. KK and SLH #5 plus LSD #2 have almost no room for light. hopefully flower unit #1 will be up and running by monday so i can transplant the girls and take clones. hoping for that purple SLH. please please please.

what i decided is that im going to go 4 x 600w hps instead of 2 1000 w hps. iv set up 2 nets on my flower unit and will be doing scrog. i found a very nice digital lumatek dual 600's for only 267. im going to get that in 3 weeks then i'll be up to 3 600's and only 1 more after that and i'll be done. was thinking about doing 3 600 hps and 1 600 mh for the first rotation of girls. a little extra veg time during flowering i heard helps a lot. also not sure if you guys know but im using botanicare organic nutes and will start running sweet through the entire flower cycle.

sorry guys cant borrow a freakin camera but i promise will have pics up before i take clones. i got my first flower unit ready for testing. it's really looking great, i think. i used to be in irrigation design and install so it brings back lots of memories. spent all day building. didn't even have time for football. made the frames and res for flower unit #2 and #3. also decided to make another cloner. working on that now. everything is looking great. have to clean out the new flower room tomorrow and put up the lights and fans and run some tests but should be up in a couple days max. will get those pics for you guys ASAP!!

alright pulled another 13 hour day building and getting the flower room setup. everything is going great - the camera but i'll borrow a camera tomorrow and show everyone what iv been working on last couple days straight. hooked everything up and then noticed my galaxy ballast doesnt connect to my hydrofarm reflector. wtf??? guess you need a freakin adapter what bullshit. anyways i was exhausted. iv spent so much money last couple days i could have hit the strip bars and done lines of coke on a bunch of stripppers ass but what ever. my girls are growing into the t-5 lights i raised like 8" last week. will be taking clones tomorrow and putting the girls in their new home.

Dirk - adapters are 10 bucks at the hydro shop. No worries. Make sure your lights aren't too high so you don't make your girls stretch.

well what happened was that when i turned on my 8 bulb t5 it shot temps up to 87 F so i had to turn off 4 bulbs. then the plants were so freakin huge they were about 1" from the light so i raised it the max i have another 8" and now all those broads are up into the light. wtf?? give an in inch and they take a mile. lol. i did notice lots of stretch in the last nodes though. i put in 2 passive air ducts one for exhaust up by the ceiling and one for intake close to the floor in the veg room and it brought down temps to 71 F so i went ahead and turned on the other 4 bulbs this morning. will see how temps turn out. also thinking about putting the veg room on a 20/4 schedule instead of the 24/0.
