1st grow w/o soil. 1/2 begining of sog, 1/2 lowryders

so i started this 2 weeks ago so these are the 1st 2 weeks in just a few pics so i dont have to add them all tonight.
i started in a mini aerogarden then switched to one and then 2 tubs. i started with some beans a friend of mine had been crossing for a few gens and then i started a second with lowryders in the tub i will eventually use to flower clones one i get some mothers...anyway there it is and ill keep it up to date.
first one sprouted on feb 1st, lowryders came up yesterday.

Your Set-up looks pretty awesome! I'm also Looking to create my own SoG from Seed. Just wondering how long you Plan on Vegging before you turn them to a 12/12 Flower cycle?

I'm kinda doing a mini hydro version of the "hans" movie. Once I get enough nodes on each of the 6 potential moms I'll top and root in 12/12 in the mini aerogarden I have simply to establish sex. Once I have established sex, and taken clones to flower and let them sit in a dome for a couple of weeks my lowryders should be done and I'll put the clones in the 10 net pot container. Probably stagared 3-3-4. At this point I will have these under a 400w hps that should be here tomorrow or tues. I will then add another tub with maybe 9 more net pots so I will have 6 sections and after the 6th I will have 3 weeks instead of two before I have to take clones so they get a little break. This all depends on how many moms I end up with and what phenos I get. We know there are at least 2 phenos for 4 of the potential moms and 2 I only know of one. I'd like to have at least 2 different mother strains to chill with for a while until I decide what other strain I want and I also have some lowryder#2 beans I wanna throw in at some point. Again, none of this is set in stone, I'm just rollin with it

as long as you can't smell it outside Im not too worried but if it gets to the point I'm sick of smelling it that would definatly be worth a try. I'm kind of skeptical about how well it would work with plants in full bloom but maybe you could put like 3 ona power strip or something.

it was, have some kind of deffiency or burn. i purged the tub cleaned it, added fresh conditioned phed water and just a little nute solution prob 85-15 water to nute solution until i figure out what it is, here are pics










maybe mg? i didnt have any micros in there before but i do in the weak solution i added today

and ive only grown once in soil and they got stolen before harvest so this is kinda like a first grow all over again a year later

ok so im now 4 weeks in. i know i havent kept this updated but here it is. so i now only have lowryders (2 lowryder#2 sprouts)

they are at 4 weeks
6 females out of 10 germ. seeds
2 are about 3 days ahead of the other 4
i have 2 phenos

Good stuff bro. Looks like ur getting things tuned in. Did notice the stretch on ur seedlings.U can keep CFL pretty close to help this. Usually 3-4 inches until they get thier first set of leaves then 1 inch closer each day until ur about in inch from the tops. Keeps um short and bushy anyway.
Skimmed thru the journal man. Not sure of the wierd leaf growth. my ppms rarely reach 1000 in veg before i force flower. They dont need much in veg its good to start slow see how they react and up the dose gradually until u reach the results u want.
Designated or set ppms for plants is kinda BS either way. It all really depends on strain i think. Ive vegged some at 600 and some wanted 1200 before they reached a foot tall. Its really about watching ur plants man.
I know i got off track just wanted to check in keep me posted.

Everything is moving along nicely. Probe from a few weeks ago were the result of a crapppy ph meter but as soon as my new one came in everything straightened out. I don't know what stretch you mentioned. All mine has 3 sets of leaves at 3". The 2 other phenotypes started flowering overnight as I was woken up to the sweetest smell my nose has ever smelled this morning. I have an ozone generator that I was running fir an hour a day which kept the smell to 0 so I changed the timer on that before I left thismorning so it will now run for 3 hours every morning when the lights go out so that should take care of the smell.
