1st Grow With CFLs

Well the buds look like they are still growing bigger, so that's GREAT! No visible problems so far, I will post a picture update in a couple days. I may trim some leaves that are blocking light from beneath the colas, and smoke them, the leaves that are close to buds seem to give a decent effect when smoked, so that should be a win-win I hope.

Well I decided to harvest the tops of the plant because looking closely at the trichs and they are mostly cloudy and amberish on the tops and the hairs 80% red so I got 63g wet from the tops and brought the plant up closer to the lights. Hopefully I will get a good amount more if these new 'tops' grow and maybe even after that I might re-veg it and start a new flowering cycle. Right now I don't have alot of money so we'll see what happens. I guess I only did OK on this grow, but at least I have learned how to make the next grow even better.

The smoke is great. It's very enjoyable to the taste despite drying so quickly. And I keep underestimating it's potency. 1 or 2 rips gets the job well done.

I always lose 1/3 of weight thats just want happens last harvest I watched 6oz wet dry to 1.7 oz dry toke 7 days.

Heh yeah I was expecting a half oz dry but I got 3/4 oz instead. And I will get a pic up soon of what's left but growth is a little slow. Should I feed it some nutes or something? How long can I keep growing it until second harvest? Experts please?

Wow 7 days. 1.7 oz would last me 6 weeks haha. I have a super low tolerance for some reason.

Get some help from the wife lol prob last us a month and nothing wrong with low tolerance mate cheaper to get high. myself I love to smoke after a few beers feels even better for me anyway.

Well luckily my wife only smokes a bowl twice a month. Haha.

Also when I drink alcohol, it almost always kills my weed buzz, replacing it with alcohol buzz.

Well here's a little update, here's some pics of the plant that was semi-harvested from 3 days ago:

Here's some pics from a few hours ago... trying to see the thricomes ... but 10X may not be enough. What do u think?

And I've added 2x more 42 watt 2700k. So that's a total of 210 watts 2700k and 9800 lumens I believe. I hope it swells up before I have to harvest.

Well she has been growing very slowly (probably due to being flushed before the first harvest) as well as there not being many fan leaves on the plant anymore. I decided to harvest the rest of the plant. I will update with the additional dry weight when it's ready.

So anyways, I will be looking into getting a clone from my dispensary, or maybe some seeds, I don't know. But I think I want more or better lights first, not sure if I want to stay with CFL, I know i could have gotten better yield with CFL if I was more prepared, but it was a first grow so it was mainly a learning experience.

Them buds are awesome for cfl great plant my first was a mess and three harvests on I'm getting 3x better crops we learn any mistakes we make keep a journal and if you deicide to go HPS you'l never look back.
