And here are the freshly transplanted Chronic and White Widow

And this one I kinda gave up on, but it started growing again, so I transplanted it. It gets it's own home in the tent for now because I am going to see if I can get this one to sex... giving it 12/12 with 2700k bulbs... they are 100W. Kinda a little experiment. It has 2 main colas!!!

LOL- I topped it for fun, because I wasn't going to do anything with it... I had little faith... It has proven me wrong! LOL

hey girl! that does sound like a good night, though, I could skip the snowstorm :). I don't miss that crap at all!!! Got any new pics of your plants? My clones still look like shit, they are really wilty and maybe dead. I pulled one out of the wool and it had teeny roots, probably would have survived if I had just left it alone. I am trying again but this time in organic soil and I put them in a closet where it is quiet and they won't get bumped around. The other ones really didn't have a shot given the conditions. Are you trapped inside today?

LOL... there are pics from last night a page back. Not really stuck inside... just not planning on going anywhere. Let my Hubby take my car to work (wont get stuck as easily). There were over 614 school closings before midnight even hit last night... we didn't get nearly as much snow as expected... maybe just a foot. LOL

You should give the clones another shot... did you see the guide from my Newbie thread... posted by riddleme, he did a great job. this could help you

Oh yeah, look at that, sweet pix!! they look good. You have a bunch, i only have one.

I think this cloning stuff may just be too complicated for me. I am not much of a grower. I put my plant outside in a progresso bread crumb container and got lucky. I see people here who can't even grow from a seed and that would be typical of me. I think clones may be over my head. on the positive side, I could go to the dispensary and buy a clone that is already rooted. I just wish I could get a clone of my plant because she has been so low maintenence. She doesn't mind cold, doesn't have a pest problem. She's really wonderful and we are good for each other LOL. I am a bad gardner and she doesn't require a good one :)

I am so happy to live in the sun. It is cold today but it's sunny. I am thankful for every sunny day. I used to live in the north east. sucked!!!

I haven't used any nutes or CO2 to help my ladies yet... I think they are pretty good for just the soil... Love FFOF!!!

Damn!!! She is sexy! I bet you are excited! Do you have an expected weight you want to get from her?

What lights do you use? Do you have an opinion?

go with the cool tube. helps to keep temps down. also, you really don't need the MH light, you can use the HPS all the way through the grow. wish i had known this before i bought mine.

Are you sure...? Because I am pretty sure that it is you that rocks... LOL, but seriously thanks... I am assuming a cool tube will help tremendously with heat control. Which is always needed... LOL

absolutly, you will want to get some ducting, you know the same stuff that you use on the back of the dryer to take the heat out of the house. you can get it at home depot or lowes for cheep. don't forget the screw clamps. later down the road you can get an inline fan (in the summer) to help pull the heat off of the light and out of the tent. sorry to ramble. ......medicated......

Curly is looking good :). yea there is no need for the MH bulb the HPS will work throughout the plants life cycle. you will need a inline ventilation fan to extract the dead heat from your BRAND NEW light capt. and now that that heat is gone(well most of it) the light can be alot closer. just watch out for light bleaching(it stops growth).

Best of luck with your new HID light

As far as the light goes, your are trading a MH bulb (good for vegging) for a cool tube. That in and of itself is a good trade. Considering you can't run either of those bulbs in your tent without a vented hood/cool tube, the decision is a no brainer.

You will need to run some air through that tube, I'm assuming 400 or 600w.

You can use your CFL's for vegging and not lose much.

Thanks Bonzi... that was kinda my plan... to continue using my CFL's for veg... and keep the tent for flower only. Would it hurt or help to have some CFLs accompanying the HPS, or is that overkill for such a small tent? Right now, 5 100w CFL's 2700k are keeping my tent at about 80 degrees... so I am guessing I won't need all that with the HPS... either way, I will be ridiculously happy when I get it. LOL
