1st growroom ever ladies maybe pics!!>

ok i there on at 18/6 and getting misted. the room is still getting hotter and hotter each day i just lost a mother plant cuz it is so hot in there! It was 112F when i went in there that light gets hot and i need a way to ventilate or they will all die =(!!!! ne one know of a cheaper way to get air out of my room with out haveing to spend tons of money on a squirrel fan?

sorry but you need a fan man and it needs to be on all day everyday to keep the temp down. and if you can leave the door cracked when you have the lights on (with the fan blowing)

Sorry to hear about the death in your family man, you really need to have the temps below 90. There are cheaper ways to cool your room. Computer fans will work depending on the size of your room you have to get a few of them if your room is bigger. You can find 100cfm fans for like $20-$30. After you get your computer fans you have to do some handy man shit to get them all rigged up and you will need an adapter to run them. Most of them run on 12v and then if you want to run more than one off of the same adapter you have to run them parallel other wise your fans will go half speed. Yeah it is a bit daunting but everyone here will help you with the how you need to do it if you can't come up with ideas the hard part will be doing it.

I have 6 frickin fansin there and the grow space is not that big. I just bought a wind tunnel at walmart for $22.95 and is still getting 113F wow that fricken sad man watching my babies burn to death slowly =( keepingthe door open would be ideal but i cant cuz of privacy and odor. so i think my only option is to take my 400w hps light out and put back my 2 80w floros to veg. they did fine when they were in there. i guess ill use the hps light for flower only that should be fine right????? I now have light turning on at 5pm and turning off at 11am so its off during the hottest part of the day right well, when i went to water them today while they were sleeping at 2pm the fricken light was on!!! i have an ecoplus timer for the hps and i have no fricken idea how it works correctly, so its like on 24 hours a day i think. What should i do Im in some serious shit with my first grow.....and i have spent literally over $500 on equipment and wood and all that crap and im losing all my investment I NEED some reall ELITE advise im lost..........

you say u got 6 fans in there but how many extracting hot stale air?,i got two extracting and one sucking in fresh air and a nine inch fan moving air around inside. my temps are 80-84`f and mines a hps. How close is the light?

where are you growing at? if you have a window why not get an air conditioner for your window if not you can get a personal air conditioner Fans & Air Conditioners | Air Conditioning | Personal Air Conditioner 1000 Btu - F10803 - GlobalIndustrial.com both are a bit of an investment but i think that it would help you out some, i feel so bad

I have 6 fans blowing air around basically....none sucking air out im trying to get my hands on an inline fan and hopefully that will take care of my heat but its in my shed so it gets hot because its roofing is black i think, little updates on the plants...my lr2 are growing good, the bigbud is a little burnt on top but its doing ok. ill post some more pics very soon, as im away on business and my wife is updating me day by day. Well please post some more options as far as cooling this fricken room cheaply plz thanks alot guys for all your help really =)

if your in a shed you can cut holes just abit smaller than your fan(a cpu fan?) work out which way air flow is, mount so it or 2,3 ect blow air outta the shed.(extract air out near top) Now would be a good idea to either mount a couple of fans near your plants drawing new air in! or invest in that inline fan. Ur temps should drop tho. p3@cE (cover holes outside with vent covers) (works 4 me)

i think you will have a hard time with keeping the shed cool it will only get as cool as the outside air yes it will be cooler than the hot box you have going on now but all it will take is a heat wave to make your babies very sad. Are your lights on at night or in the day?

my lights were on during the day but now i got them turning on at 5pm and turning off at 11 am....
