so little update on grow. the 4x4 is 11 days in...and preflowers are showing.the bbs are up to the light already so ive started some minor training. all plants look very happy though..saw some deficiencys last week already so upped the ppms to 800 and will prob bring it up to 1000ppm next week. most of the roots are exposed so i started running some bleach in the res to be safe. havnt seen any rot or algae though.
only 2(1 is the ig13) of the 11 clones are showing roots so far in the cloner.
i can say they were deff stunted from residue from the simple green that got left in the res. as i came to check on em the next day and foam was everywhere in the res and took several cleanings to get rid of all residue but either way it had no toxic effect on the clones but probably stunted them and put me back a week or 2 .I will need to remember to flush more thoroughly after cleaning the cloner next time. but it makes me wonder if simple green could be used as a algae/fungus agent like bleach and peroxide at a very diluted solution???
i was gonna try lollipoping the bbs. when should i prune the lower branches??? ive read after a couple weeks into 12/12.
i lost the bb mother in 12/12 after getting back from outta town last week.(brother forgot to water
). but the pw has got some donkeys goin into week 6.
will prob have to get a dehumidifier soon as the flower room is running 40-68% RH
and i have not got to run the c02 with the controller as it has a exhaust shut off for the co2 input. ive got temps to stay under 90F after turning the 8'' fan to almost 80% full speed.
i can deff say now that i think running hydro is easier then soil IMO
