1st sog grow

so me and a buddy got 2 150 watt hps lightss and are looking to do some sog growing never grown indoors before and i was just wondering how many plants can i get under them? i looked up plants per sq ft for lumens but every website has a diffrent answer, so does anyone know how many plants i could get? also if those two bulbs arent enough to get good smoke i can get more bulbs any help would be nice

I would say maybe 4 plants. Im growing 12 under 1000w and that may be pushing it a little in the later stages of flowering.

how are u planning on using those 2 150 hps's ? your doing sog so u wont need as much light for the vegging plants as u will for the flowering room. i would suggest getting some small fluros for vegging and chucking them under the 2 hps's for flowering , i would say 4 plants would be ideal ,but u could put maybe 6 under them but u wont get good results.
