would a t5 fit in my 24 inch fixturelooking good. if u could get t5's for the other sides it would probably help quite a bit.

i looked them up but 2ft is to long for what i'm trying to do i was looking at converting an outdoor hps 70 w to use in my box i'm just worried about heatyou need a t5 fixture itself. They do make 2 ft ones that should fit your area though. if you check ebay you can find some cheap t5's system that will work.
i fixed the heat issue here's a pick of my girl i hopechanged my mind i can't fit the light its way to big also i notice when there is three 2700k and one 6700k the temp rises 4-6 degree's making it 87 which is to hot i think but when i run 4 2700k its hovers around 80 81 degree's. all bulbs are 24w
i'm using dwc/hydrois your soil covered? you want your soil to breath.. rotten roots are no fun!
so should i just leave it at 87 i'm just worried that when i'm not home it will shoot into the 90'simo 87 isnt that bad but if you feel more comfortable with it in the lower 80's it's fine. the hps might put out alot of heat too. the flouro tubes are nice because alot of them put off very little heat even compared to cfls. in small spaces where every bit counts since they run rather cool to the touch the plant can get closer to them when they are bigger.
i added a fan blowing over the bulbs helps a lot i'm down to 80 degree's now i used a 120mm pc fan i had lying around. 1st pic is the fan hanging so i can move it when i move the lights, second pic you can barely see the fan behind the lightshaving the same issues mate! how did you fix your heat issue im at the early stages of troubleshooting, im just trying different bulb sizes and the amount of lights i was running 12 now im down to 6 and that only killed 3 degrees
oh, my bad! carry on theni'm using dwc/hydro
