1st time gr0wer - need some PRO tip, please!

Hi,

I'm noob, a complete one. This is my first grow and I know I have long way to go. I love reading, learning and growing, but right now I am very worried about my babies, so I could really use some help.

- I'm growing under LED

- I water them when the soil feels dry (that would be prolly every 2nd day) and each time I would give each around 0.75 liters of water

- Soil is Plagron Royalmix

- Flower is gorilla glue autoflower (fastbuds) ---> 10 weeks old

- Humidity is at 47% and temp is 23C

I have been trying to look at various pictures, guides and try to figure what it could be, but I am just confused (no, i'm not high).

I wonder if it's possible to do something, because those babies are my life and I would really like to get high at least once of this harvest =)

--- HMM --- I didn't expect pics will turn so shit, but I guess 919 is best one, you can see leave on bottom left that has some brownish dots and a leaves in right bottom corner that have some sort of whiteish stains...

What size pots are you using? Sounds like you're watering every other day?

I'm no pro but maybe I can help.

You guys are all PRO's for me.

Pots I'm currently using are 12L (3 gallons).

Yes, I am watering every other day.

I know pots are small, but this first grow is very educational and experimental for me. For next grow I will swap to larger fabric pots, either 20L (5 gallons) or even 25L (6 gallions). What ever is the largest I can fit in my tent, which is btw 60x60cm (2x2) =P

You can try waiting an extra day on watering, the top of the soil may be dry but at the bottom it may be wet still. And when you water the next time make sure you water until you get run off. To me it looks like over watering. How long have they been flowering?

i grow in 3 gallon pots also, and i water every 4 to 5 days when they are small,, and every three 3 days when they are big and in flower,, since yours are Auto's,, ( which i have grown before also),, i would say ever 4 to 5 days, water till you see some water come out of the bottom of the pot and stop, pour slow, drench the soil all the way to the edges of the pot, and then wait, sometimes i even pic up the pot and feel if its getting light before i water again,,

Well said.

You are definitely overwatering, tips curling up and you have had an unstable ph at some point.

Your spotting is Ca, most likely from ph.
Should I measure with the thingy that you stick in the soil or just measure PH of water I use for watering? Or should I be even doing both measurements?

Is there a brand you would recommend?

Thanks!

Rather than feeling the top soil, lift the pots. You'll know when they're due for water because the pots will be less than half the weight.

Invest in a pH soil tester and water test kit, they're reasonably inexpensive and can help a lot, no point giving them nutrients if they can't use it. I had similar looking leaves, sure enough soil tested 7.5, brought it back down to 6.4 and within a few days they looked healthy again and no more damage was done.

I haven't found a single PH meter/tester on amazon that would have positive reviews. They all seem to be very inacurrate.

I wonder what are you guys using, any recommendations?

I use a $15 pH probe from my local hardware store and a water test kit for runoff, they set me back about $30 total. Don't stress too much about high tech digital testers if you're new to it, the cheapish analog testers from my experience do work and a water test kit isn't super expensive. Some of the cheap testers are inaccurate but i've gone through 3, 2 of which sat in the soil outdoors for 2-3 months and all of them were pretty bang on readings for me when compared to the runoff and using soil test kits. Your most expensive testers are going to be TDS testers, but if you're just in it for some personal stuff you can get away without one.

Should get PH tester and a good WIFI miscroscope on Monday, amazon so slow =(... but today I was looking with a Carson MM-300 miscroscope my Gorilla Glue and I had quite hard time to investigate a nug, then I don't know really hard for me to say, but would say aprox. 60% of the trichomes were milky, I'm was unsure and I was like ... Fuck it boisss, I'll just cute a small nug off and put it in oven on 60C for45 mins => grinded really well, put in bong 2x (0.5g) = 1g of it and I'm like blasted to heavens... Can't wait to properly check on Monday with better miscroscope and harvest, slow dry and cure this shit, gonna be lit... So happy and high =)))

Love the tips guys, much appreciated, i just wanna grow for my self 2-3 plants and stay high, forever, without giving a fuck about dealers (I luv my GORILLA alrdy)

Does trichomes mature further after flower is cut down and hanged to dry?

Make sure you check the whole bud and not just the sugar leaf, the sugar leaf tends to mature a bit quicker than the actual bud. You want most of them to be milky, I like to aim for majority milky with a few little half amber trichs here and there.
