1st Time Grow of ANY kind of plant! THC Bomb.

Hello All. First of all, I just want to say thank you to you all for all the information provided on this site.

I live in an island where it is hard to get hold of any weed....last time I had a smoke was November 2012. So I decided to jump in with both feet and try and grow one (bearing in mind I am useless at growing anything!)

I have managed to grow this THC Bomb from seed (I only had one feminized seed). Supplies are extremely limited here so I have had to make do. I used John Innes No. 2 Soil and mixed this with Perlite and Blood, Fish and Bone Meal, vegged for 8 weeks. During this time I thought to hell with it and I'm gonna top it...success, so I decided to lst it too. As you can see by the pictures, I had a Magnesium problem during the 4 to 5 week mark, so I folier feed it with Epsom Salts which seemed to sort out the problem. I am now two days in from switching it to 12/12. Light used was a normal under the shelf type kitchen flouresent. Plus I have used the sugar and yeast in the bottle method for CO2.

1. How is it looking?
2. How long will it take for the pistals to show?

Yes, yes, I know I am being impatient, but it's been such a long time.

2. It usually takes a week or two for the pistils to start showing up.

Unsolicited advice: You'll want more light than just a couple tubes for flowering.

Thank you! I forgot to say that for blooming, I am now feeding her with African Violeet Fertilizer which is 12-36-14 and it also has trace elements of Magnesium, Boron, Copper, Iron, Manganese, Molybdenum and Zinc. £3 off Ebay.

I also put her into the garden...when it's sunny. I just wonder what kind of yield I may get from this plant?

WOW! Looks like I chose the right strain I have Fibromyalgia and a prolapse in my neck and hate taking the tablets. This strain should do the trick. I have taken a couple of clones and are hoping they root. I have named them all! This one is called Beyonce as I'm hoping she will be bootylicious! The clones are called Candi (Staton) and Deelight (Groove is in the Heart). I know, I'm a nutter, but I'm also a singer and sing to them all the time. Okay, I'll stop waffling, but it's nice to finally talk to someone about them. Thank you.

It's funny that almost all female growers name their plants, and guys usually just label the strain and number them. I am very happy with WW#3,4, and #5, the COC 1-5 were disappointing, and the BH1 and LK1 are doing great.

I know...mad, but as I'm usually the plant killer and I've managed to get this far....and desperate for a smoke, they are my precious babies so I HAD to name them LOL!
