Crazyboy101, I used this site a lot when I was learning about the basics of cannabis cultivation: http://www.growweedeasy.com/

I’ve worked as a gardener and nursery worker for years, so obviously that helped, but indoor cannabis growing is pretty unique. That site is a great place to start absorbing some knowledge.

But every single pot plant needs the same thing. Just a little more or less.

Time for a transplant mate. Thats a big trunk, for a pot that size.
Get some plain potting mix. Add some coarse gravel, perlite, river stones etc, etc. You want lots of good drainage to finish flower, whichever you use.
Carefully transplant. Just be carefull when you turn it out, it isnt too root bound. Or you may have to loosen them a tiny,tiny little. Just so the roots dont circle.
I reckon you could get away with a 40 or 60 litre pot. Then water it in. Only water. Give it a good one.
In several days when its started spreading down the pot, you might be able to give it some liquid food.
Just take things slow.
Bigger pot, water it in, wait to feed.

Is it the pot that is causing the problem or overwatering then? Thanks for your help mate!!

Drainage and aeration are your biggest friends when you upsize too.
Dont use any whole fertilizer when you transplant.
Just regular potting mix. Preferably without time release fertilizer like osmocote.
Add a couple of hand fulls of gypsum to the potting mix aswell. Itll keep your ph in a nice zone.

I grow in a small space and don’t want my plants getting too big for my space, won’t a bigger pot make the plant get too big? Will it kill the plant to keep it in a smaller pot?

Your roots are suffocating atm because they're bunched up and cant breath.
Thats why your lower leaves are dying. The plant is compensating for your small pot.
Flowers will be lacking.

This is what plant training is all about. Pruning and bonding. Read up on topping, low stress training, and defoliating. Try some of them out ONLY after your girl has returned to a vigorous, healthy, rapidly growing state. Sickly plants will not respond well to training. And start slow. But that’s how you keep big plants in a small space.

Yes, though you can only veg for so long, or your pots are gonna cause problems. Its a fine balance of time.
Its an art.

I think double or triple the pot size will be fine. Lots of aeration and drainage too.
You need a bigger pot regardless.
