Yea the central valley heat pulls all the cold air through the city, making it windy and foggy.

That sounds like an awesome auto cross. Is it the first generation? It will take 2 more until you can get to the recessive auto gene. Happy to help you get there.

First gen: AA (photo) x aa (auto) = all seeds are Aa (photo)
Second gen: Aa x Aa = 1/4 of them will be aa
Third gen: aa x aa = all seeds are now autos

I was going to try to start a similar project with Mephisto Forum Stomper crossed to CSI T-1000 x Bubba Kush. Unfortunately I started the Forum Stomper too late and I don't think it will throw pollen in the next 3 weeks.
I had one I popped in with my summer photoperiods, just for fun. Got lucky and it flowered on it’s own, and I’ve already harvested it. Not much smell or flavor, but works. I’ll try to pick the best for my inbreeding.

I'm in Sonoma County. Like those before me, I would not top (prune) anymore. It only stalls the development and I'm in flower too far. I'm not a fan of "defoliation", you do that at manicure time. I'm not a fan of stressing the plant, either. Like Mel Frank and Ed Rosenthal said long ago, grow the healthiest plant you can. It's now time to cut the nitrogen and fertilize with a bloom and flower mix, but just for 4 more weeks, then water, only. 2 cents.

Personally I would not prune after flower starts. All valid points about airflow and if you were still in veg I'd say prune away but not worth agitating your plant with wounds during this sensitive time. Let it focus 100% on flowers rather than healing wounds.

Mulch is a good idea. Also go out in the morning if there's dew and shake the water off her. Adding some potassium silicate to her water might help fend off mold/fungus, also foliar spray with potassium silicate can help.
