There might be some hope for it if i manage to persuade him to give it so me...i doubt i can though as he's scottish and said he couldnt bring himself to kill it off....it's been on his kitchen windowsill from seed for 3 months and wasn't even watered the month before i rescued it.....i think this plant needs therapy

looks good mate how much soil to perlite do you use?
i tried doin 50/50 but it ended up like 60/50
60 bein the perlite lol....whoops

im using plagron lite mix with preadded perlite,i think the plants are thriving in it tbh....it feels lovely and airy if you know what i mean

Dude, grow it out with your plants. It looks to be completely revegged. "As good as new" LOL. It may look weird now but those new branches will grow normally from now on. So do you know the origin of the seed?

Yea man, with different phenotypes and whatnot, you never know, you could be giving away a plant that will yield some killer smoke. Or it could be a male LOL. So I would at least veg it with your plants and then kick it to flower to see if you even have a female.

Hi all.
Ok i have a couple of questions that i need to ask,it might sound noobish but i wanna make sure that i get it right as its paramount to my grow plan.

I am right in thinking that this is the 2nd true node?(see pic)


The reason i ask is that i have the DR100 growroom(100x100x600)...in this i am growing 6 femmed white widow in 11ltr pots. By the time they get to flower its gunna be pretty tight in there and i doubt light will be able to penetrate the lower parts of the plants.To compensate for this im gunna be following uncle bens thread about topping for 4 main colas,Also he says not to top them till you have at least 6 nodes but rate at which my plants are growing im gunna end up chopping a fair bit off.....any help would be appreciated

I think topping is best for saving space on height. I think it has the opposite effect on floorspace used. Instead of one beefy cola you will have more bushy and spread out plants with smaller colas (no real gain in yield IMO). Just food for thought. I go for the lollipop method. No topping but I remove all budsites from the bottom 1/3 of the plant. Those that would "steal" energy from the other buds but not have enough light to use it. That is a big part of the reason you see all those large buds in my journal and avatar.

Ah....i was under the impression that the 4 colas would each be around the same size as 1 main cola..i knew the plants would "spread" and bush out...thats why i opted for it....hmmm

tried for four but got two

nice looking plant cyrus,nute burn?....what strain,how old and where did you top it?.......hmm i dunno what to do now tbh but on the up side my plants are looking beautiful.i measured em today and theyre at 6inches...i will post pics at weekend

Don't let me talk you out of it. Either way you will get a nice yield. I'm just a sucker for the trophy buds... because no, the multiple top colas from a topped plant wont be as big individually as one single would be, all other factors being the same. In the spirit of learning I think you should try both. You have six plants to work with after all.

Hiya mared,you know what?.... i came to the same conclusion today whilst i was at work...im gunna top 3 of em and let 3 go single colas....yep sounds like a plan .......fuck me you never guess what just happened...ive never shit myself so much in all my life!....there was a knock at the door bout 7.30pm tonight(gmt)..i had just put a joint of cronic out and i went down to answer it....to my horror it was the police asking to come in to speak to me...i swear i could of died but played it cool and invited em in,anywayz they came in and i knew they could smell it but they didnt mention it.they wanted to know if i heard any noise last night as there was an incident a couple of houses down.they wouldnt say what happened but i think somebodys been murdered as forensics has just turned up mob handed....im currently sat in mine now paranoid as f@@@ lol....but im gunna style it out...theres no way im droppin these plants...theyre too beautiful really...they gunna be nice and cant wait to post pics at weekend.
