Ok,tried to find a digital ph meter this weekend whilst ive been out and about but didn't manage to get 1.Sooooo whilst im waiting for my internet goodies to arrive i picked up soil ph testing kit from b+q and and a water ph testing kit from pets at home..They prolly wont be spot on accurate but both are giving me a reading of 7.0,what are the optimum ph levels for both soil and water...Ive read various conflicting threads regarding this matter so i will go with a general concensus....i havent tested run off as they are both giving me the same reading....i tested the soil before i fed them water today...tnx

OK,I think im encountering my first problem.The first picture has yellow specks on the leaf.I have this on 3 other plants but each one only has 1 single yellow spot,also they have all appeared on the biggest leaf sets of each plant.On 1 of the plants the yellow speck has burnt throught the leaf.The plants havent had the root complex and supervit in over a week,my feeding water and soil ph is at 7 and its 78f averages with a high of 80f top through the day...humidity is at 37.The second pic is for you to look at to see if theres anything wrong with them in general...any ideas guys?

nute splash? or maybe your getting some condensation forming on the leaves in their dark period?

Looks to be pretty minor of a problem. I would guess either some kind of moisture got onto the leaves or the plant doesn't like that 7.0 ph. Water droplets on the leaves will magnify the HID light in certain spots and put burn spots on your leaves. Also I know that soil plants aren't as picky about ph as hydro but an off ph will cause all sorts of problems. Plain old distilled white vinegar works great as ph down in a pinch. I think you want to be at 6.5 for soil. Either way, your problem is too small and minor for an exact diagnoses yet.

ahhh,i didnt know what the ideal ph was..i can grab some ph down 6.5 from the shop i got my stuff from the other day....so theres no probs.thanks

steve i swear they are going mental...im running out of room very fast....stems are getting nice and thick...gimme 10 mins,i will grab some pics :)

oh yea.....they are starting to stink..i could smell it in my hallway when i got in from work....not good!.....im gunna have to start running my carbon filter and ruck fan soon

i haven't invested in a scrubber yet. i make sure i keep the lounge door closed always, even when going for piss. i also used some draft excluder on the door frame. i do wake up in the mornings sometimes and think i can smell my plants but then i walk into the lounge and think nah. oh yeah i have one of those plug-in air fresheners in my hallway.
