1st Time with CLONES - Need advice

I have 7 cuttings in 16 oz party cups and they've got about 12 days since they were cut and rooted so I was wanting to know how long it takes for roots to adequately establish before I should transplant them to their 3 gallon homes?

Also, how soon should I introduce nutes with clones? I know to work my way up and such but I wasn't sure if you do them the same way you would a plant from seed. Wait about 3 weeks or so and then start at 1/4 strength.

Anyways, I'll be starting a new grow journal for round #2 in my tent. I can't even remember the name of the strain the cuttings are from but it's predominately sativa by looking at the leaves. I also have 4 aurora fem'd seedlings going.

Will post pics later...

After the cuts have been growing for oh 7-10 days or so you can pop them (gently) out of the cup to check root growth. Hopefully at that point it looks ready to go, if not, leave her be for a few. Just my methods don't judge me people:bigjoint:

Roots grow pretty quickly at that stage so I would say it's ok. Make sure the soil in the cup isn't wet or the soil will fall away as you remove the plant. Just a little dry is ok, and easely slide her out and away you go. Have fun.

you could start the nutrients now, just really weak since there roots are new. i would give it a week or two. also, as long as the roots are somewhat established, you can transplant. it may cause a bit of stress, but i transplant when i see new growth on the clone.

Definitely check the root development delicately and go from there. In the future try using olvias cloning solution and use a little bit in each watering. My clones are usually rooted in less than a week using this method.
