not one of the seeds had started. lovely. i think i just failed before i could fail .

lol never lose hope! maybe dig em up and try re-germ? couldnt hurt and do get one of those jiffy humidity domes then you wont have to worry about it drying out ever.

dont i need a humidifier and the dome to make it useful?

no sir, the point of the humidit dome it take a spray bottle and spray your plants and the humidity tray base and lid then then close it, with a few veg lights over it the heat inside the dome with rise and the water will want to evaporate but it cant because its sealed therefore locking in moisture and keeping everything humid and moist its pretty much the same concept as the plate and paper towel trick but now your adding lights, and then every 12 hours or so open the humidity dome for say 5-10 min. to get some fresh air in there then put the lid back on. then you should be in buisness...

Whats your thoughts on ordering seeds to your house?

i dont know ive never had to do it i live in canada with a seed bank down town so i dont need to order them i just walk in and get what i need. i dont like the thoughts of it but i dont know ask around a lot of people i hear use prepayed credit cards and shit like that.

Thats how I did the bubblelicious. The jiffy seedling trays work great though, just soak the peat pellet & when its expanded plop the seed barely under surface put lid on humidity dome (if the seed is fresh they usually pop within 2-3 days but can take over a week to pop).

usually when i crack seeds I just get a 1" peat pot, fill with potting soil and mist the top of the 1" soil a little bit then plop the seed just barely under the surface (tip down if possible).

I never soak or germ my seeds, they just get plopped right under the surface of the soil.

To give you an idea on how long some seeds may take to germ. Like 2 months ago i crackin a bunch of bag seeds for outside after i put enough in the peat pellets I tossed like 40+ seeds into the glass that i was using for water. I tossed the glass to the back of the cabinet. like 1 month ago I noticed the glass so i grabbed it and in the bottom of the glass was just a large chunk of seeds, no sprouting or anything just nasty seeds. Anyways like 2 weeks ago Again i grabbed the glass and what do you know? Theres sprouts. They took almost 2 months to germinate in the glass (of course I have no idea how they did, they must have absorbed enough liquid or enough liquid was left to support root growth). Hmm lemme see if there still alive lol. (yes they became an experiment to see how many germ after 2 months ) Ok there were like 3 living, only 2 of wich i could fish out of the bottom of the coffee mug and the pic sux But gives you an idea how long some seeds take to germinate lol..



as soon as the seeds break surface I put the peat pot/pellet into a larger peat pot and take it out of the humidity dome. (you shouldn't have to re-acclimate the seedlings to a non extreme humid environment if you transplant and take them out of the dome right after they break the soils surface.)



I have ordered from Nirvana (That is where i got the Bubblelicious seeds from). I have not had any problems with them but there are of course the horror stories of people saying they did not get seeds or that they received the order but the seed packet inside was opened and the seeds were gone. But I have heard more good things than bad things about nirvana. Some of the people who say they never received there seeds probably did, I know that I almost threw away my seeds when the package arrived here, man were they disguised just a little bit too good on the last one lol. I only found them when I was ripping it apart lol (guess you would have had to of been there )

** Forgot this.. I have had them shipped directly to my home & used a debit card. Nirvana is pretty safe in my eyes **

Growing unknown bag seed is occasionally fun just because its like the lottery, you never know what your going to get.

The great thing about getting good genetics is that later on you can create your own strain through selective breeding etc. not to mention almost 95% of the time ordered seeds germ in like 24-48 hrs

The below image is of numerous different sizes of peat pots. in the center is the peat pellets (you just drop them in water and let them expand. then plop your seed/clone in )



I have been using just tiny rockwool cubes for my cloning (its just a lot less of a mess and hassle when dealing with clones in my eyes). But I do clone into just 1" peat pots filled with potting soil also.

next paycheck seeds will be on their way to my mailbox then.

Did you get a jiffy dome? If you did place a few inches under your cfl's (just close enough to make some heat/humidity in the dome) and make sure you mist the inside of the dome good and within a day or so those lil suckers should pop up and say hello

you can use just about anything to make a humid dome I have 2x large mushroom containers (you know the colored ones that they come in at the store?) I just seram wrap to seal the tops on those and put a few tiny slits on the seram wrap Tupperware with clear lids works wonders also

dont carry them! thats ridiculous! yah a DIY would work awesome aswell. hope this try goes better dude good luck!

i woke up this morning after drink 15 beers and being hung over as shit. i packed a nice bowl of some skunk my buddy brought over.

looked in my "SPIFFY" jiffy ghetto box and i have GERMINATION. so ill never be doing the soil technique again.

it took this seed 1 day on a plate behind my computer (for heat) and 1 day in the dome compaired to the 10 days and counting on some of these seeds

i think imma start a fresh journal since this is page 6 and i have no seedlings yet, check my Sig for my new journal. thanks for help guys.
