It's Oregon grown weed so any pesticides used have to be approved by the state. Oregon is pretty strict with what can and can't be used to grow marijuana. They track everything from seed to sale. You could potentially lose your license if you get caught going outside what's allowed or using products not approved in the state of Oregon. The list of approved pesticides doesn't include anything other than what many people on this site are using.

^^ Hehe. You were cool if you knew what a lid was, trust me. Lids went up to 5 fingers, like if you knew the dealer. 3 fingers was standard for commercial or schwag type pot and cost $10 to $20 an ounce. 1 finger would be composed of seeds and stems. Lots of shake no manicured buds. Your mom was either getting taken by the dealer or was getting premium pot, like Michoacan. Almost everything was Mexican, some very good, most not so hot or crap. When Colombian kind of took over in '75 they started into weighing the ounces.

I liked narcotic or relaxed highs in the 70's and would have preferred the various indicas and hybrids that are standard now. Now I like the pot I grew up with more than the common varieties in the pot stores here in cali. The 'sativas' I get from pot shops are not great and not much to choose from in the more sativa leaning 'sativas'. They are all hybrids.

I remember four finger lids for $10. Seedy Mexican or South American. Some better than others. I also remember "commercial" which was typically garbage and likely ditch weed from the mid west.

Colorado sees average price of wholesale marijuana rise in second half of 2018
Starting Jan. 1, Colorado will reap more tax revenue from wholesale deals involving marijuana intended to be sold to consumers

after the average prices of those wholesale products rose in the latter part of 2018.

The Colorado Department of Revenue on Thursday released updated average market rates

for marijuana being sold or transferred from retail cultivation centers to recreational pot shops

or facilities that make retail products like hash oil and edibles.

Those sales and transfers are subject to a 15-percent excise tax.

The rates were calculated based on transactions tracked by the state's marijuana enforcement division between Aug. 1 and Oct. 31.

During that time frame, the average price of a pound of marijuana bud rose to $781, up from $759 during the previous reporting period.

An average pound of trim went up to $396 from $325.

The cost of whole, wet plants hit $151, up from $100 and a seed sold for $5 each on average, up from $4.

The prices of buds and trim set aside for use in creating marijuana extracts both fell during the reporting period, hitting $200 per pound each.

The average cost of an immature plant decreased to $4 each.

Weed is $780 and trim is $396? WTF? I can't see trim being worth 10% of the actual plant. I wonder what the top shelf smoke is going for? I'm sure the basic farm commodity weed will get cheap. It won't be smoked it will be raw material to make something else.

These are suprising numbers for "mid-top shelf" rec, no doubt, but i think wholesale grow>dispensary/concentrate manufacturers is a different can of worms. Trim can still be pretty high thc% for cocentrates i think? Wish I could get a unit for under 800$, that's stupid cheap for the consumer.... 50$ an ounce. Pretty decent markup for them still.

No they don't. It's easy to make your own seeds. What is this "Good Shit"? Something with a ridiculous name for $20 a seed?

The latest craze/money grab in the cannabis industry is seeds. Most are not from actual breeders but just pollen chuckers crossing other people strains. As the price of seeds goes up and people rave about the ten different pheno's you could possibly get from a $20 seed, I see more and more people popping those polyhybrids complaining about nanners.

The cannabis seed industry has become a joke led by American banks. That's why I buy my landraces from overseas.

When I get old and grey, I want to become an IG seed king. Just sell seeds you make to 18 year kids for mid grade prices. Postage will be your biggest expense.

This is just wrong. go have fun buying your low thc crap seeds. most of all the bomb strains that come out now a days are phenos from those 10 dollars and up seeds. exotic genetix, archive, relentless genetics etc.... please tell me where you can find high thc variety's for less then 10 dollars a seed. from a reputable breeder too. nothing over sea's. you dont have to buy random seed chuckers overpriced seeds, there are reputable breeders that sell at a decent price. most of the shit overseas is garbage america is leading. keyword "Most"

Every one of those "Bomb" strains came from hybrids of landraces. Nobody discovered Skywalker Double Kush Super Haze Triple Diesel Cocoa Puff Sorbet growing in the jungles of Venezuela.

Reputable Dealer? Seed banks/breeders that have been around since the eighties are not reputable?. ACE, CannaBioGen, Dutch Masters, and Sensi are top notch. Are you saying their not reputable?
