So... I have 2 lights (2700/6400) in a small space... I can have them both on with the a/c running...

My buddy said to use the 2700k at the start and end of the day to simulate sunrise/sunset.. and use the 5600k in the middle....

I think I'm going to do this.. 2 hours in the morning.. 2 hours at night... I can have both lights on..

That way I get the other spectrum in there, but not to much.. Of course for flowering I'll reverse it and have more time with just the 2700 running

Think its a good plan?

What? You do realize the sun has both? Combine them, don't switch.

Ya I know the sun contains both spectrum's but I can't have both lights on at the same time.. Without my a/c running.. and I don't want my a/c running 24/7... So I think its my best option... I'm gonna try to have both on as much as I can... But definitely not all the time.

do whatever works for you man. all we can do is tell you what's optimal. only you know your situation.

More light = more product. If you can't use both then you would use the 6400 for veg and the 2700 to flower. You don't need to simulate sunrise or sunset, that's bizarre and I've never heard of it, but I can tell you it's irrelevant.
