2-3 foot plant......when should i flower it with cfl's?? im thinkink soon.....right?

hey cfl growers.......
i have a 2-3 foot plant, a couple, and a few small ones,.......im thinking i should flower soon. im hearing, with cfls, a 3footer is as big as u want, is this true???? id like ur input please...... experience with this.?
i am a "some what experienced grower", in that i always kill my males, and grow out doors,lol.....i also read that u can trim the seed sacks off a male, and flower it....is that true????? i have never heard nor tried it.........never wanted to risk it. anyone ever try to keep a male from seeding????? i would think its impossible....but, im just asking, i never had a grow i could "baby sit daily", untill now...lol...thanks..........:lol:

yeah u shouldnt have let it get so big,unless you have 4-6 lamps and all your cfls are 42w or higher and thats with 1 plant

well, its only 4 weeks old tomorrow,lol.....i didnt mean it, it just friggin grew 2 inches a day!! i have 12,000++ lumens, 10 lamps.........and im going to add a few more soon. thats per each plant. 3 grows.........

my avatar is one plant 10 days ago. at 2 feet. its almost a foot taller now. its in a 6 gallon pale.........
my strain is NORTHERN LIGHTS.
i have 27 seeeds left, from my outdoor grows, very good smoke, my biggest outdoor girl was over 12 foot.......lol....

True Males .. keep putting out more and more pollen sacks to the point where it's hard to keep removing all of them ...

Females with "herm" tendencecies .. produce male pollen sacks ..U might be able to pull most of the sacks off and continue the female flowering process ...

TRUE females are difficult to force pollen sacks to form ... there are techniques to force a female to produce male pollen (it's a dormant gene that helps to insure production of a next generation)

i may try it. also, is their a sure tell way to identify bag seed as sativa????? the top leaves on only one plant, have 11 fingers!!!!!! my others have 7.

hmmmmm .. bagseed .... I think ...if anything ...it woud be an educated guess .. how was the bag it came from .. do u remember ? If u r like me .. if u saved it .. it was GOOD ... haha ..

there might be a genetic test for Sativa .. but I haven't heard of it .. eleven blades sounds like it's leaning heavily towards a Sativa ... u need to look at blade shape and length ,, and at plant structure

its always 1 plant that was smaller and then get bigger than the rest thats the sativa.and my indica had 11 leaflets so does my sativa its most likely a columbian strain

take clones from your 2-3 foot plant. flower em on CFLs. It will work. You can also keep trimming clones till you kill it. But now its in a small and compact size lol. Or keep it as a mother if you wish. Taking like 5 clones off that plant is much faster then growing 5 seeds for your outdoor grow. If you flower one of the clones using your CFLs, you can see if its a male or female. Those 5 clones for your outdoor will be pure females :D. Happy Growing!!

the trimming the male seed sacks doesn't work.... the seeds may not grow back if you snip them off far enough along but you wont be growing buds. i know because ive always grown outdoors and i did this with a couple of plants from my crop this year.... waste of time unless you like to smoke VERY week leef
