2, 3, or 4 in 4x4 tent

Hey guys I’m picking up growing again I’m getting my tent started along and right now I have 2 plants in there in seedling stage. I’ve been reading allot about plant count and veg time and now I’m rethinking my decision. Should I plant another 1 -2 plants to speed up the veg time? I plan to do a perpetual grow and I don’t want to have to manage that many plants. I’m already going to have 2 mothers so I figured another two in flower would be 4 plants total. Last run I planted 9 in 4x4 and scrapped the grow because it became too much. I’m running 2 fem strains from compound Gastropop and California raisins anyone have Info on how these grow also? Thanks

If 9 plants were too much to handle and you plan to keep 2 mothers, how do you plan to manage a perpetual grow?

You need another veg space to grow perpetual. There is a great thread on the site that works everything out on how to achieve it, including plant counts and grow style etc.

I would just grow 4 plants in a 4x4 and not try to go perpetual given the info provided.

Sorry for the miscommunication I do have a separate 2x4 veg tent that I plan to house the mothers in

4 plants plus 2 mothers is 6 plants total which is manageable but am I wasting to much time vegging in a 4x4 w only 2 plants? I read somewhere that 3 is the perfect amount but it’s an odd number for 2 strains I see a lot of people run 4 in the 4x4. I just popped the 2 seeds August 2nd and both are up and out now I’m growing in canna coco if that provides more insight and feeding with canna nutes

4 plants in 5 gallon pots , 6 plants in 3 gallon pots, these numbers are good to consider in a 4x4
