nice man, good work. idealy i like t5s for veg but those cfls seem to be rockin, what light cycle you running?
i would go 18/6 for at least a week before you flip the switch to 12/12, they tend to stretch real bad under cfls when you do that.24/0 for a full month, and it has been about 1 and a half weeks..
Then Im gunna decide whether er not to go 18/6 fer 2-4 weeks or just flower right away..
arright thanks man i apprieciate the advice.. I think I will go 18/6 fer a week atleast..i would go 18/6 for at least a week before you flip the switch to 12/12, they tend to stretch real bad under cfls when you do that.
i like lst for sativas and topping for indicas man, its real hard to geat a string around the indica dom tight nodes so i like to top them at 5th-6th nodes and take them down to thier 4th. this will give you 2-6 colas that are usually nice nugs all the way up. for sativas i curl the stem around the rim of the pot and tie all the side branches back till the canaopy of the plant is like a big bowl and its a fairly even hieght all the way across. ive got one indica in veg that i have topped, its a blueberry. that one will have 6 mains i belive. i have one sativa thats 21 days into flower in these pics thats been lst'ed and vegged for 50 days. and one indica that was lst'ed till a light fell on it and topped it by burning it. pic one is blue berry, pic 2 is the sativa, pretty sure the seed came out of a sack of trainwreak, so tw or a cross of it. and 3 is my indica, im almost certain its white widow though only time will tell for sure.arright thanks man i apprieciate the advice.. I am also going to LST at the 5th visible node on all the plants.. also top 2 out of four
Any advice would be appreciated
any plant that is switched to 12/12 under any grow light will stretch, this is part of the flowering process the plant is responding to the change in schedule and is preparing its self for the budsi would go 18/6 for at least a week before you flip the switch to 12/12, they tend to stretch real bad under cfls when you do that.
this is also a product of how much food they have stored in thier roots, if you give them a longer dark cycle before flower to use up some of it the plants dont seem to stretch as much. just from my personal experience, but soon ill be running a test to prove it.any plant that is switched to 12/12 under any grow light will stretch, this is part of the flowering process the plant is responding to the change in schedule and is preparing its self for the buds
cold temps, below like 60 i think, but the plants are too young for that right now.Hey guys thanks for the info..
I noticed i had some springtails today so i put a tower fan blwoin lightly on the plants to maybe make them go away
