1. Ive had my clone in my chamber now for 6-7 days and its doin really well, just wondering when i can expect to see root develpment, how long will it take??

2. Can a clone, that has not yet shown signs of root develpment, be transferd to a soil medium?? Would this kill the clone?

Thank for all your input/advice.

1. some peopel say it can take 2 to 3 weeks
2. it might kill it because if there's no rooting agent around the root it will have a hard time to root but also leave the chamber open a bit every dat but increase the time and amount of space you open so that there's a less chance to putting it into shock but I am doing mine in a water cloneing enviroment with no chamber and its about 3 to 4 days and I am starting to see roots , I diped it into rootech before putting it into the wanter to help rooting

Im just using a straight water enviro. Unforutnatly i cant afford rooting or cloning solutions, which seem to boost root development dramatically.

well you could have the end that you want to root in the water because that could work and I payed $20 for a 4 oz of Rootech

cloning gel wouldn't cost more than 20$, its doubtful that you will have good results without it, as it provides hormones to the cutting that cause root growth.

you may get roots, but it will take a very long time

save up 20$ and buy the gel.

i used to suck at cloning because i would hastle the girls too much. i think the biggest thing is patients and letting them do their thing undisturbed...and cloning solution is a big help

you could get a cheap rooting hormone or your pockets feel a bit deap. you can pick some up at a local garden centre for about £1. they will work better than nothing. i use clonex and its great. and at £3.50 per 50ml bottle its well worth it

the rooting time varies betweenbreeds and even particular plants. i have an ak-47 cross that wil show roots in 4 days from cutting. ive had others in the past take 3 weeks.

i find an underneath heat and very low light level (but no dark) will get them to root faster

well im not sure what your asking. if your asking why id want my plants to grow fast. then, the sooner they get to the correct size the sooner i can flower so i will get bud sooner.

or the faster they grow in a particular time then the bigger they will be and therefore more bud. if that wasnt what you asked sorry but i dont understand

i dont think it means anything. fast growth just means things are going well. could be for any number of reasons
