The light hangers have been around a long time and even at 18 bucks, its kinda expensive. Seen them for 14 at a lot of places. Some places even give them to you in a package when you buy a shade and ballast. The cloning gel is just another cloning gel. Might be better, might not. Won't know till someone tries it however, I would imagine there is no new technology there.
