2 lb per light indoor organics

With a high yielding strain and the right conditions, is 2 lb hard to achieve using a 1k light?

If you have a nice air conditioner and are pumping co2 at 1500 ppm then yeah you could do it. Make sure you veg for at least a couple of months.

600w in cobs and U be pulling in like wayyyyy way over a p, 20 ounces or more
Even using small pots (7gal)
No air conditioning,
Adding Water only

I did this with the finicky and lower yeilding super lemon Chernobyl cross
As well as sour diesel

Double the Love and attention, push the water, vegging and rotations

And double your pot size, and one can double that yield to 40 zips

My organics, same strains exactly, clones from same mothers, under a 1k hps air cooled with 6" inline did only about 2 zips each, Albeit frosty and nice quality bud the leaves were less happy and metabolisms more taxed, so be prepared to tea em up more especially if not going with the recommended 15-20 gallons

Picking heavier eaters would be a wise choice too vs girls that show burn

In defense of the 1k hps I wasn't there as much as I wished I could have, and it was also not a brand new bulb, it was used for one previous crop

I was also a bit cheesed that a built a beautiful location, moved everything, just to have the location get kiboshed long term .. But that won't stop an herbalist, it never does

;)

Good luck no matter the light choice,
Organics, either way, welcomes you to the best place on earth

With a 2 month veg time, what size pots should I go for?
Well,
bigger the better
I pulled a qp off of a 2 gallon which i topdressed into 3gallon, vegged under cfl for 75 days, then flowered under led.
(Black 4rest)

However, imagine if i had run her in a organic size 20 gallons vs the commercial choice of 2 then 3
The micro activity would just never cease

I would use as much soil as you have reasonable access to at this time, for example 4 wheeled x 25 gallon sip beds with one big plant each would be my top choice followed by more of a pheno hunters choice, and since I have a tonne of 7 gallon geos which I sourced next to cost, I'd use them, 16 of them, if defanning, and 9 if not touching (minus 2 clones), and if doing either of these options, be sure to choose stouter indica Doms, vs equatorial variaties, you should get at least 18-32 zips that way, and not have it be to wild either

I was thinking more of at least 30 gal pots and no till style. I just don't want to haul more soil than necessary. @ 30 gals each pot I will be looking at 1600 gals of soil. Maybe do a 150 gallon smart pot for each light?

Wow. I must be doing something way wrong. I'm using subs super soil to a T and only getting 3 OZ a plant. Let the soil cook for 45 days. I veg for 60 days then flip them like sub says to do, in 7 gal pots. I'm putting three plants under their own 600watt HPS and have three 600w HPS total. . Air conditioner going , outtake fan and intake fans. Three oscillating fans. Growing blue dream, sour D and blueberry. How the hell is everyone saying they are getting these yields . can someone fill me in please lol id be estatic to get 7 oz a plant .also, I can't get CO2 here where I live in BFE Alaska . Maybe that's what's holding me back ? I don't know

Yeah bro subs super soil is a super flawed and incorrect approach to growing organic cannabis. I've made quite a few posts about it. Ill help you out man but its my 30th birthday so I did 30 dabs and now its not the best time for me to go into anything lol.

I once did a 3.5 LBS monster surrounded by 3 x 600w (hung vertically so those 600's servered 3 other plants too) I vegged about 6-8 weeks, plant including bottom of pot was about 2-2.4 meters high and pot was only 50 litres. This plant wasn't intentionally grown for so long, it was only grown for so long because it was an early clone i got from someone else while waiting for my clones to catch up. If i was you, i'd definitely get over 50 litres to make it easier/faster for the plant to grow.
EDIT: I did it in coco though.

With multiple lights in a area it is not very hard to get 2 lbs per light. I nearly did it on my first try with 6 1000's got 11.5 lbs. The trick is very large hoods so that each light is crosslighting the plants under the light beside it. And packing a very dense canopy under that. I used huge plywood beds on casters pushed together with about 15 plants under each 1000. But i should add, i used chemical nutrients, GH 3 part flora. Root mass is a huge factor, open beds allow plants MUCH more root space than small pots.
