2 month old plant qurstions.

Hello to all, I have a few questions regarding a few of my babies. I originally started out with 7 plants, 5 California Dream, and 2 Northern Lights, however, me being a first time grower, didn't have the adequate knowledge that I thought I had and low and behold, only 2 survived, which I thought was odd because were the ones that I figured had the least likely chance to survive. I planted on 420, and tomorrow marks the 2 month mark and I guess I just dont think they are the correct size. Although, I do absolutely nothing to them. All I do is pay them a visit 2 a month and prop them up vertically with small sticks if needed and I seem to have done a good job with it because the plants seem to be doing exceptionally well. Could someone fill me in with your opinion and let me know if the age and size complement each other, and also, how much longer until these puppies start to flower and bud? there small but look okay i put mine out in may mine are just under 3ft tall and about 3 feet wide how much sun they getting

Well, the spot that we picked was a last minute change because the spot we did have to do the deed at turned out was not as secluded as we thought, so we found this place that there is ZERO chance of someone accidently stumbling across it. The spot is in an open patch in the woods that has a fairly big canopy opening and I would imagine that it gets 2-3 hours of direct which is probably why the are so small. How much do you think these two combined will yield? Im sure it isnt going to be much, I have my expectations pretty low.

yeah thats why i like to have 7 hours at min cant really say what you would yield to many factors have you used nutes yet

You dont think I will get any at all?! Dont tell me that! No, I have used no nutrients. My partner and I have decided that we're going to let them run their course and if they do, they do and if they dont, well, they dont. We have also talked about taking loppers and lopping down some of the competing plants and tree limbs over head but the patch is relatively sunny. They have to yield SOMETHING. I mean, right?

Based on the fact that their plants, I love it.

Are they in buckets with the bottoms or have the bottoms been cut off?

for sure you will get something just dont expect anything huge one of my friends had a plant that only got 4 hours of direct sun and still pulled 2 1/2 ozs dry

You and your "friend" should find a sunnier spot or get some axe's and go nuts for a few hours. I had some plants in the woods where there was a nice opening in the canopy, and i had some in a complete open field...the difference in the plants was night and day. So with that said you can shoot your self in the foot and grow some twigs or just get some more sun to your plants and get a few oz's.

The bottoms of the buckets were brutally punched out by one of my partners with a shovel. I am confident the draining situation is more than enough. What do you mean by "Based on the fact their plants, I love it" ? If I can get 2.5 ounces off of one plant, I will be ECSTATIC. I've told my self to not even expect a zip. When will they start to flower?

The plants are entirely stationary. The amount of work we put into digging the holes in the allotted time that we had was ridiculous and the bottoms will not support the weight in it's current condition.

Oh, yeah, I also plucked a few leaves off the bottom so it focuses the energy to the top and for shhits and giggles, I planted one of the leaves that had a 6 inch stem in the bucket right next to it in hopes of a clone. I doubt it will work, but one can only hope.

Hell yes I will be doing this next year! I have some mid seeds that I contemplated germinating and planting but I figured it might be a little too late in the game. Wouldnt hurt to try. The main question I have isnt getting answered. Could someone tell me how much longer til flowering?

Dude ur not gonna get anywhere near 2.5 ounces. And as far as the flowering where do you live? We need to know that. In most places tho its around august/september thru october.

I mean I love it when all plants are growing. I don't care what they produce as long as their growing.

I wasn't worried about drainage, I was thinking of root expansion and from the little soil you have in those buckets the roots will go through those hole and you should be ok.

I think you'll be able to pull off a couple quarters (both plants total) with what you got there and they should start flowering when the light in the area goes to 12 hours a day.

Just kidding. I live in Georgia, about 30 minutes north of Atlanta. I personally think that I will get atleast a zip. I may be wrong, but that is what I am hoping for. The plants have gained atleast half a foot every time I go to visit them and as they progress, they will eventually reach the max height and then, if they are anything like tomato plants, they get a lot more bush like and thicker stalks. I am confident in them.
