2 much light!!!!!

is it possible to have 2 many lumens on a plant??? i know you can have too much heat and lights too close to the plants. lets say at seed i had 30,000 lumens on that seed. all cfl's (which shouldn't burn any leaves)
Can you have too many lumens at any point in the grow?

i dont believe so just to much heat. give it all the light you have just keep the heat down.
I'm running 4x 300w cfls 1 175w mv and a 100w hps all on one plant
in my veg box i have two 300w cfls on one plant but i also have lots of air movement
form the grow room fans and the house ac

seedlings can actually get too much light I believe, and you can definately overdo it on unrooted clones. After these stages though you won't have a problem with too much light.

actually you CAN have too much light, have you ever seen light bleaching, its when there is too much light ans the leaves and al the top bud are clear-ish/ white and they dont grow because there is too much light...
But this only happens when you hit like 65,000 lumens per sqaure foot
